berkleeboy210 said:Mine is too. Our's must be on the same shipment. Crossing Fingers hoping to get it possibly Monday![]()

We're both on the east coast and FedEx is saying January 18... So much for 2-3 days shipping, right?![]()
Congrats on the iMac, skunkworks. I guess 17-inchers got shipped later.![]()
berkleeboy210 said:Well I just checked again and it arrived at the hub in Memphis, TN at 12:58 this afternoon.
No I'm 99% sure it'll be here tomorrow
Hopefully yours will be the same Good Luck!
applekid said:My iMac is tagging along with yours.I wish they would tell what the next intended destination is.
Just my experiences with FedEx tells me they like to take their time and that expected time is usually pretty accurate. If it doesn't arrive at my local sorting facility tonight or early tomorrow, I don't think I'll see my iMac tomorrow. Hopefully you're right and I'm wrong. *fingers crossed*
berkleeboy210 said:Just checked and mine Departed the FedEx Station in Memphis at 5:46. It's only a 2hr plane ride, so now I'm leaning more and more towards tomorrow![]()

NewbieNerd said:I just ordered a 20'' tonight. 2 Gigs of RAM, 256 MB graphics, wireless keyboard/mouse, iWork '06, Applecare, .Mac to go with iWeb, ....man I am so set. I had planned all along that as soon as a I got job for after graduation, which I did today, that I would order a new comp for myself and stop hogging my fiance's. I would like a PowerMac for the flexibility of upgrading, but I can't foresee spending that kinda dough for something, if anything, inferior to the current iMacs (I wasn't going all they way for Quad).
My plan is to keep the iMac at least until PowerMactels come out, or should I guess Mac Pros, and then switch if I want. I figured the Intel iMac should hold its value much more than a PowerMac G5, especially if a lot of pro apps go universal over the next few months.
Either way, I think I'll be more than satisfied with my iMac.![]()

Ryan T. said:My Apple store is getting them in Tuesday...what do you think the chances are of me getting one if I get there about a half hour after they open?
Steve1496 said:Geez, I wasn't going to go get mine until later that night. I live in a relatively small town so I didn't expect them to sell out, but maybe I'm underestimating it.
berkleeboy210 said:We are fortunate in the MA area to have so many Apple Stores near us.
I think Braintree should be OK, Cambridgeside is usually the more popular one in the area. Not sure about the other 3 though.
applekid said:My iMac is being transported to me as we speak. Let's see who gets their iMac first![]()
Steve1496 said:Yeah, I guess if I miss one I could drive to one of the many other stores. I'll be able to get to my Apple Store by 4:00 or so, so hopefully that'll be OK.
Tehy said:I will order my iMac next week... Here in Finland the the shipping time is looong"Ready to ship: 4 Weeks" I hope it will ship sooner

Or has this been tried yet? I looked around and seems to be all speculation at this point.
