I've got about 14 hours of play into Brawl at this point (taking turns, so not straight gameplay). I'm already pretty awesome at it, but it is really, REALLY different from Melee, and that will throw people off for a while. I kept misjudging the physics for a long time.
I know people...
Specifically, hardcore Melee tournament-players with modded Wii's and an import copy. We just had a Brawl tournament last Saturday.

Brawl is pretty isnt it?I've enjoyed what I've played so far, its one of a few Wii games thats worth buying this year.
You must be sad that Ponyz didn't make the cut.

Is anybody here planning on attending one of these tournaments???
Gamestop also seems to be the only stores open for brawl's launch on march 8th where I live.
For people who played brawl,
Is a one minute match, that's also one on one a good setup?
Lastly to anyone has any Gamestops got American Brawl demos to play. The ones here in Colorado haven't. It's great sadness cause I really want to compete but I would at least like to try out it's new gameplay/physics system.
Well I just called my gamestops near me they are going to have melee to play in the tournaments on march 8th. Not sure what other states GS's are doing.
