Official www.jailbreakme.com from Comex

Is anyone else having a problem with multitasking?

Also, Comex's twitter says restoring from a backup fixes MMS and facetime. Does that mean to get MMS back, I have to restore to the un-JBed 4.0.1, and then JB again, or what

I did lose facetime and MMS... but I know nobody who uses facetime and I rarely use MMS... I'm sure a patch will be released shortly. WELL worth having access to cydia to temporarily lose those features.

Same here. It's mildly annoying not being able to send an MMS for the rare occasion I send them, but well worth it for quickreply, pdanet, and sbsettings. Any idea how they would distribute a fix or if it would require a restore?
 
Did a restore and JB the phone again, had my MMS and facetime. Installed the mywi and lost both. :)

100% agree. Actually 110% agree.

I search and search before I post :)

But I am still amused at post likes yours. While they are true, they dont add anything to the discussion.

So to add more... Ive decided to remove the JB for now. Servers are slammed and if I cant have my experience "tweaked" how I like it, then ill wait. Good luck all!

Restoring FT and MMS fixes it because it jails it again. You will lose the JB.
 
Worth waiting?

I've got my finger on the trigger...but who else is waiting to JB?

Do you think At&t sees a spike in Data Usage tonight? (MyWi)
 
Did the jailbreak, then decided to restore to undo the jailbreak, and now it appears I don't have MMS. Any suggestions?
 
This being a webapp - in order for this to work they found an exploit in Safari right? This means a website could take full control of your phone? Isnt that worrysome?
 
Ok--already bought My-Wi, need to load OS4 onto my 3GS! Will My-Wi still be there or will I have to redownload My-wi? ALso will I have to pay for it again?? thanks

If you don't want to jailbreak, you can travel to Canada and shell out the $700 or so dollars for a factory unlocked phone. Sure it's not cheap, but you get a nice vacation and an unlocked phone out of it. You can do the same if you go to Italy or some other European country where they sell unlocked phones. I heard the dollar is doing much better against the euro. This'd be a good time to go.

I'm waiting. I haven't even gotten a chance to try facetime. Also, I don't like being a beta tester.
 
I got the mywi working by downloading the Rock app. Tried it on iPad... EPIC!
