There is one in stock from DataVision Computer Video, not Amazon. You can't use the discount to buy from 3rd party sellers.

I don't know. Placed an order for the same machine last night after I got the Kindle deal. Returning the Kindle today (really don't like it) and returning the 13" Air to best buy that I"m typing on now. lol

I couldn't pass up the savings...but I really, really hope that my laptop ships before the next 3 weeks as I'll be in Hawaii for 3 weeks and really need a laptop there. Can't really bring my imac with me...haha. :D

Hopefully the base 13" comes back with the same. I don't really want/need 256GB at that price difference.

I bought the Kindle because I had already had my order for a MBA into Amazon. With the offer I saved money on my computer and got a free Kindle. BTW the Kindle screen is fantastic and I enjoy reading on it much more than the iPad.

What about those of us who have bought normal Kindles and can't generate a code? I bought four at Christmas and one last month and no code for me.

just talked to the rep about this.

they said temporarily out of stocks means that they won't be able to fulfill the order right now while the 1-2 months refers to the time taken to prepare the shipment and ship the item.

never knew it took so long to send out something they have in stock.
 
Any more of those amazon coupons floating around? I'd really appreciate one XD

Any idea when this deal ends? Do they give notice on the Kindle Special Offers at how long a deal is good for, or does it just disappear?

It ends tonight, you you have till 11:59 to get the code out of the kindle. Then you have till Sep 8th to use the code.
