OMG...Amazon 20% coupon on NEW Macbook Airs

Every rep says this week. This week only has a few more business days. Why not tomorrow?
They probably would have done it automatically, but I contacted them just to get it over and done with.
Yesterday I Posted that my "Not Yet Shipped" Air 13/256 changed to "Shipping Soon" and I figured that was a great sign.
So today I ordered an STM Scout Bag for the Air from Amazon. As soon as the order was complete the shipping dates showed "Not Yet Shipped" for BOTH.
WTF.
I'm not checking this thread anymore until I get an email from Amazon

This happened to me. After I changed payment methods, this changed it to shipping soon. When you first order something, it says shipping soon. Then, after awhile, it changes to not yet shipped.
future is not looking to good for me then. lOL Do you at least have a date of arrival???
So I called Amazon today and asked the lady about my order she says I just have to wait there is no date :O 13 i5 256! Ordered on the 8th. The more I think of the Air, my i7 Pro 13 seems SO slow and I notice the color wheel a lot more now lol. wondering if I should get a sleeve and a skin or book book and a clear speck/skin
I love how people sticking up for Amazon's "mistake" are probably the ones who happily got their discount.
I managed to get a 13 base Air with the discount and I have a second code from a second Kindle I was going to use to buy another Air (for my mom) but I completely understand why Amazon discontinued it. If Amazon knew how big this would blow up they never would have initially released the promotion.
I personally don't think people complaining on Amazon switching up their promotion have any merit to complain save the select few who had extraneous circumstances the prohibited from buying the Air in time (not lack of funds, but a code that didn't work and things like that.)

I also ordered on August 6th Delivery Estimate: August 30, 2011 - September 15, 2011. I wonder if only I ordered a day or 2 earlier I would probably have it by now. Amazon is usually faster then there estimated dates im hoping this gets updated to delivery of next week or something. On Apples site is says shows within 24 hours so I dont understand what the problem is with Amazon getting more inventory there one of the biggest sellers on the web.
Got my 11"/128/4 today- unfortunately the space bar is not fully responsive and I'll be going to the genius bar tomorrow to see if they can do a simple fix or replace the machine. If not, back to Amazon it goes and I'll have to wait for a new one.
Unfortunately I think it screws with the queue when you make an alteration. I changed my payment method and it went from 16th-> 21st, then changed to 1 day and back to 20th.

I ordered the 11"/4/128 yesterday after finally getting a rep to give me the exception and got a delivery date of September 13...last night I got an email showing delivery on the 19th this Friday. My guess is that Amazon is moving out dates to just make sure they can catch up with orders.

You'e very lucky - I ordered mine couple days before you did and mine was changed from September 13 to August 23.
I did initially get an August 23rd email then got the 19th shortly after, I did pick 1 day shipping though and am a Prime Member so I am sure that was the difference in dates....
