Amen. Doubt we'll see anything like it for a while. Closest other option is watching for an openbox on one of the Microcenter $999 13" Macbook Pro's and get it for $900+tax. Doesn't help the Macbook Air crowd though. 😉

Just got the same message on my 13/256, ordered 8/8 at 10:30PM PDT:
Original estimate: 9/14-9/29
New estimated arrival date: 9/13

Finally! Now I'll have something to do with the DisplayPort cables and copy of Parallels 7 that have been sitting there waiting. 🙂
