Just used passbook on the 
Watch at Starbucks in Portsmouth.
A) it was so so easy not having to take out the phone/wallet, and B) the girl said in a brummy accent 'it's like something from back to the future'

My wife's turned up yesterday so I'm wearing it until mine arrived
My wife insisted I did the same but I refused. It is hers to enjoy, not mine. I wouldn't even open the outer shipping box when it arrived to me at work.

I'm tempted to order one of the sport versions with the blue band, just to see if it dispatches sooner than the space grey sport. I only have enough in the bank for one watch, so they will only be able to charge for the one that's being sent first and then the other can just be cancelled.
It's tempting to do... But then I wonder, is it worth sacrificing the one I want, just to get something sooner?

When you say you haven't been charged, do you mean you have a pending charge? Because my debit card has a pending charge from Apple since 22 April but my Black Watch SP Sport is still processing. Is this because there is a problem on my banks side or Apple's? Anyone else in this situation?
Passbook, not Apple Pay.
The Starbucks app adds your loyalty card's barcode to the Passcode app, you can scan the barcode at Starbucks to pay. So not quite Apple Pay.

Probably will use Passbook in Costa next week.
Does it work well? Haven't really been in Starbucks so not sure what they do, is it just a QR code? I just have visions of it not scanning, and looking like a right pillock having to get my phone out...
Did that on the 24th 38mm blue for the wife, then just try swap the bands....no movement or card hold yet

Held it about an inch from their scanner and works straight away.
Just a normal barcode (same as the app on phone) just from top to bottom not left to right.

I took the leap last night and ordered a blue sport with 38mm strap. No movement on it yet and no charges pending with the bank. I assume that there won't be any movement over the weekend... I've kept my SG on order too
so if you buy an extra charger, it will obviously be metal and not plastic - will this in any way damage the plastic back on the AWS?

after looking and looking at my 42mm SG Sport and the 38mm Pink Sport for my better half that were ordered 10/4 @ 8.04 still sitting in Processing
I took the dive and order 2 Blue and 2 White in each size on the 23/4
one 42mm Silver is now shipping and one 38mm Blue
stress, sleepless nights waking up to check my order and reloading and then reloading ever half an hour is now over
hopefully have both on Tuesday/Wedenday

2m. The length isn't really why I'm getting one, it's just because the 1m is cheaper!
