Well, so based upon you just wrote, mine would arrive on 1st May, a day in which nobody works here in Spain, perfect then. FML
 
Ok, I think I worked it out. For those showing 1st May: That's the date that the carrier (which could be TNT or UPS) has been assigned to collect our order from Apple.

Probably not without setting myself up for a gaol sentence :eek:. You could try calling Apple asking them for the Carrier Tracking Number beginning with SHA (e.g. SHA-03584711) (Its the second column on the first table on the Delivery Notice screen). If they give it to you then you can go to www.kn-portal.com and put it in.

It really wouldnt take much effort to pull the info in from the K+N systems and display more info on the shipping page for customers..

Agreed, but then people would be frustrated if they saw their order 'stuck' at the Distribution Centre. Apple does like its black boxes...

do orders really get stuck in the DC's that much? I thought they tend to move quite quickly after they reach the DC...

I don't know, I'm speculating. They may wait for a couple of days if an accessory isn't at hand but will be soon; any longer and I think Apple would ship the lappy out separately to any accessories.
 
Still confused

Hi, i'm still a little bit confused about those IDs...

I have that Apple ref id like 811XXXXXXX. Am i right that i cant track anything with it while it says "Merge In Tnst CZ Pra".

My order shipped on April 24th. It says delivery date between april 30th and may 3rd, but my shipping email from apple says before may 10th.

How can i figure out where my MBP is right now ?

Eeeww I was feeling sorry for myself, but now i read this, I am feeling a little better, though it's still a long wait. But yours taking almost a month, is indeed a long time.
What does it say as your shipping method? EMEA?

Don't worry, it'll be delivered around 2.30 pm today. I just checked my last MBP order from February 2010 for my girlfriend and it had almost the exact same time stamps! Normally when it leaves Zürich the delivery takes around 1,5h for Basel. So I guess for Lausanne it'll be maybe 1 hour more.

Oh man, I'm so excited to finally ditch this awful iBook G4 after almost 5 years:D! The integrated GPU died on me a month ago and all I see is a pink flickering screen with eye-soring movement. This Arrandale waiting game was so brutal:p!

I was really excited too.... The thing is... I've been waiting sooo long now...I just feel disappointed and annoyed now....

It's a bit like when you're really hungry... If you wait long enough you just don't fell that hungry no more...
 
It's on his way:D...just left the DC and is now on his way to me! Yay only a few more minutes until I can finally call a MBP my own!

Would be great but I have doubt about it... It left Zürich at 11.30am and based on my last "Merge Experience" it goes first to a TNT center located in Geneva, which is really crazy because as you know when you go from Zürich to Geneva you have to drive across Lausanne...but how knows, given the current situation due to the volcano they maybe changed their protocols...

Enjoy your last minutes waiting...

Thanks, it sucks indeed. My first mac as well >.<

Shipping method is the infamous "Merge In Tnst NL Til". Tried calling them to cancel the remote I also ordered but they basically said I'm ****ed.

My only hope right now is that they've been overly pessimistic and that I at least get it before the weekend.
