There is a hope that our new toys may be closer than we think. I presume that Apple customer service knows no more than we do about UPS shipments and UPS isn't particularly well informed either, otherwise they would have updated their tracking system rather than just putting "NATURAL DISASTER" on it. One has to admire the fact that there is a scan for natural disasters though..
Anyway, here's the possible scenario. Yesterday there were 2 UPS flights from Seoul (INC) - usual path for shipments from Shanghai (PVG):
5X65 to Anchorage landed today 2:52am and
5X9 to Vienna, landed yesterday 2:32pm.
People in the US are now posting their FedEx tracking info showing that some MBPs arrived to Anchorage FedEx facility today at around 3:30 am. Therefore it is reasonable to suggest that MPBs somehow got to Seoul and that Vienna flight also contains some of them.
The next flight UPS flight from Vienna (VIE) to Cologne (CGN) 5X275 hasn't taken off yet, it's scheduled for 10:40 pm tonight. They might be there, what do you think?
LOL, I think this is "waiting for Arrandale" logic
Interestingly I haven't received the email that many seem to, from Apple saying sorry for the delay etc...
