I'm in EXACTLY the same boat as you! Did you get an e-mail from Apple Ireland today? My e-mail said DDP UK, which I think means delivery duty paid. Maybe it's in Ireland? i'd like that :)

Exact same situation here... Except that my delivery date just moved from the 04.05 to the 26.04. I hope it'll keep going in that way :)

For those who have Kuehne + Naegel I think we'll see our packages move once the German or Luxembourg airspaces are cleared

Have you tried logging into your account on the US Apple Store?

That usually gives more info including the carrier tracking number.

Does for my current order.

Yes, thanks, I can see a tracking number on the "Apple order status" page (for the sleeve).

It says: "Shipped on: Apr 17, 2010 via Syncreon Technology ", " Tracking #: WW00000......"

Is there anywhere I can pace this into? Can't find anything on the Syncreon website.

There's no more detail on the bridge-point page.

I am sure they are in Shanghai still. The initial report that it was on a plane that left last night was hopeful, but upon reaching Europe it would've had a scan that would show up. That should have happened a long time ago now, so I recon jamescwarren is correct, it is still at the airport in China.

Unfortunately it seems that our fears have been confirmed. There is no shipment in Cologne and all our precious MBP's are stuck in Shanghai and will remain there until the cloud of ash has removed itself from European airspace :(

I was ready to pull the trigger after selling 09 C2D 17" to my brother, but the whole Volcano distater happened and now I am waiting for the dust to settle (literally) and then will order - no point building up a backlog. Just hope there are no long term supply constraints.

I hope the volcano will calm down. Not only because of our mac though ..

Doesn't seem infeasible to me that most shipping companies can't just deliver south of the danger zone (by air) and arrange trucks to carry the rest of the way? I'm probably naive as to the complexities of large-scale logistics (truck verses airplane in terms of load capacity is a huge difference), but surely it's in their interests to clear as much backlog as possible and accept new goods?

weird... still no tracking info what so ever... says that carrier info to be updated later but the status has just changed again...

Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 26 Apr 2010

so it doesn't even tell me where it is

I have a bad feeling that the sleeve will arrive today and I'll have to sit there looking at it for the next 2 weeks before the MBP arrives :(

I don't think they will. On the site I read that they will wait untill all products are ready so you receive them in once. Saves them cost to.

Can any of the germans in here give us an update on the situation with the german airspace? Is it due to be reopened anytime soon? I know in Denmark they just extended the no-flying-ban to 8am tuesday morning...

I'm waiting for my base 13" mbp to be delivered and I live in Malmö, Sweden. I called UPS to ask if it really made sense that it would be delivered today as the UPS online search stated, the support told me that even though the delivery is registered as "on it's way" its still in Shanghai due to the volcano.

They can't fly to Sweden and apparently they'll wait 'til they can. As long as I get it before friday I'm fine with it.

I ordered (on the 13th of april) the 13" base MBP aswell, its still in shanghai..
Estimated delivery is 22nd of april (stockholm).

I'll join the club. My MBP is currently in Shanghai as well. Hopeful to have it by weeks end.

Same in Germany. Extended to at least 2 am Tuesday
