Waiting for a replacement AG, 17 inch, i7, 8gb, 500gb 7200rpm... status was that it was going to be delivered on the 29th, now no date!

VERY HEAVY package At 5.3 Kg when the laptop is 2.99kg!!!!!

My MBP seems to have left Anchorage not too long ago. Anyone on the same flight? Europe seems a far way off for monday delivery...

EDIT: Read on another (German) thread that this might be a flight directly to Cologne, Germany. Can anyone confirm that?
 
Hey Guys, at first i want to say something to all the people who don't want to stop crying. I've called an old pal of mine, he works at Airport/Frankfurt for DHL. He told me that they still have packages from 14. April in China. They working at 120% and still have old packages in china. So i guess UPS still have a lot of problems too. So chill back, because they do ANYTHING to move your Book at fast as they can to your front door!!!

Looks like my Book started of from the US. Anyone have some flight infos? Where is it heading?

I didnt even think about that alternative, but there is this flight from Alaska to Germany on it's way and even the time seems to match. If not then they might be here.

Check out flight UPS41 - it left Anchorage at 10:54pm local time and is headed for Cologne. My DEPARTURE scan on UPS tracking reads 10:06pm, so this could be the one. Who has similar data?

Anchorage 22:06 departure?

Hey, Departure 22:06 is potentially great news!

There is actually a direct flight from Anchorage to Cologne, currently underway. It departed Anchorage at 22:54, so it's entirely possible - I would even say highly likely, that our MBPs are onboard!

This flight ANC-CGN might even have been the reason that UPS used this new route in the first place.

The more I think about it, the more sure I am, that our MBPs currently are flying towards greenland... then, like christmas in april, our gifts will come from (near) the north pole. :D

True that, but it would make more sense (to me anyway) to send it straight to Europe, no? Let's hope that they're on UPS41...
 
UPS41 seems very likely. And it it arriving at 19:16 CET today, so hopes for Monday delivery are back again (to Munich at least).

I was hoping for Monday delivery before, and now you are looking for chance of a Tuesday delivery....so sad, UPS :(

If yours has left Shanghai then you might expect it Monday or Tuesday (up to UPS) as the earliest :)
 
So my mom will also maybe receive her macbook tomorrow :)? mine is in cologne already and have date to be delivered tomorrow, i hope she will get hers too :)
 
Well I've been waiting since 31 03 2010 for a replacement so a few more days aren't going to hurt.
 
Mine is in Incheon atm. I dont see any flights on the Incheon airport website from Incheon to Coeln/europe, only to Anchorage in the US. So its first going to be shipped to Anchorage and then to Coeln? Still a long time to go then.
 
My UPS tracking just updated to say it left Incheon, KR at 10:43AM (Departure Scan).

However when I go into World clock on my iPhone it says its 21:52 in Korea now???

Nope, still merge in transit status since being shipped on 16th. Not sure what's worse, having confusing UPS tracking info or nothing at all....:(

Estimated delivery schedule is still set to 5th May, but underneath says 26th. Very frustrating.

I called apple today, I was told that the date 5th is deadline date and the 26/4 is the next update for tracking. The 26th is the day it is expected in uk DC and then next day delivery. True or not who knows?
 
WEird, some people from the UK have had their MacBook's shipped from Shanghai to Koeln (Cologne) but mines gone to Korea 1st?
