Well, I just phoned the Apple centre in Spain, and they didn't know zilch.

The woman I spoke to is SouthAmerican and hardly spoke Spanish, never mind English.

Well, this is Spain, as they say. It's not Africa, but it's effing close!

UPDATE: My laptop is in Luxembourg, my printer in the UK distribution centre, supposedly all will meet in UK distribution centre within 3 days upon which I will receive a tracking number and then it is up to the courrier, so fingers cross it will arrive friday, you never know!

I just called and they told me they could not see any info on the system other than delivery by May5th. She said that the only see where it is once it hits the UK? so its either a load of rubbish or staff that dont care

You're telling me! Spoke to an indian lady on the phone the other day (not from Apple) and she told me her name was James. Howabout that?! Sorry all for going off topic.

Picked up by TNT tonight from NL. Heading for Stockholm with ETA Apr 28.

When did you order and when got your MBP shipped? Mine is also a Merge in Transit, but despite the fact that I ordered on the 13th and it shipped on the 17th there was no update since then on the Apple tracking site. Man, why did I order this f***ing remote too???:rolleyes:
 
What's the average delivery time from Shanghai to UK/Scandinavia?

I've called apple twice now, and both times I got a swedish person, however the second time the supporter actually had a decent english vocabulary unlike the other guy, who didn't understand that I didn't understand what he was saying.
 
So nobody got their merge in transits today?

lol Peruvian and Colombian (Bogota) accents aren't too harsh, she was probably from Venezuela, Chile or Cuba lol, those accents are crazy..

back to topic...so we have 1 reported merge-on-delivery with an update via the website... a miracle!

Ordered the 14th, shipped the 18th. MBP 15 i7 HR Glossy 500GB @7200 + Remote.

Interesting...I have the exact same configuration like you, but it still hasn't merged. Well, Apple's mail said I'll get it this week, so I stay hopeful, but this Arrandale/Shipment game makes me crazy:D
 
I rang them, said I should have delivery by 28th, it's in Luxembourg and soon as it hits the UK tracking information will be given.
 
seems like all our macbooks are in luxemburg. sounds like ******** tbh, probably just said that to shut us up
 
oh well so more ppl hear they are in Luxembourg... I though the apple guy I spoke to on the phone earlier was simply taking piss...

I also phoned Apple today. I asked where my MBP is, and a portugese woman (who I could hardly untertand) told me I'll have my order status page updated tomorrow so I can see the tracking no.

Dispatch 2-4 days ahead of time!

13" CTO with printer, remote, VGA-adapter and sleeve - ordered April 21th. Dispatched April 26th. Estimated Delivery May 11th in Denmark. Set to merge in NL
 
Very short version:

merge in transit to the UK. Ordered 13th (I think), shipped 17th. No details on website. Called apple today (american on the phone, for record), said he'd be VERY surprised if it took as long as 5th may (official "latest" time), said he didn't have a fixed date, but based on what he's seen before, he'd expect it in the next 2 days. ie tomorrow or wednesday, which is the original arrival date before iceland decided to puke over europe.

freaking yay!
