I have been suffering as a merge in transiter with shipping date of 16th. I have now recieved a UPS tracking number and scheduled delivery of the 27th!!!

I'm in London, UK btw.

Here's hoping for the morning!

Great. Finally some movement on my shipping info, it says that it'll probably be coming tomorrow, and is going with UPS! I then have a look on the UPS website and it says that they've split it into 2 packages, one weighing 0.6kg, one weighing 4.8kg. the 0.6kg one should come tomorrow, the 4.8 kg one comes the day after :mad: Never mind, at least they'll be here soon :)
 
Hooray, todays most exciting change was that my ordered products changed the order they're listed in...

Ordered on the 20th, est. del. 17-19 May...isn't that a bit insane?

"Not shipped yet"-status, merge in the Netherlands, 15" 2,66, HR glossy and remote. Anyone with similar?

EDIT: UPS TRACKING NUMBER, DELIVERY TODAY!!! oh dear. I seem to have just **** myself.
 
Well done guys, still no text news on mine, hopefully I'll wake up to the news of it having merged on delivery and now being at the doorstep :-D

For all you who have received it (After having a mergeintransit order)... what was your expected arrival date?

Apple predicted my delivery for the 3rd initally. Then it proceeded to change to the 5th.

However the carrier predicted 26th-27th. Then that changed to 27th-28th.
Now it's set on the 27th.

Hope i've helped! If you need anymore information feel free to ask. When did you order? And what did you order if I may ask?

Been through all the tests and am very happy with the computer.
17" AG, i7, 8Gb, 7200rpm. There are no dead or stuck pixels or yellow tinting. Fan noise is almost identical to my MBP 1,1 (ie very quiet but not inaudible). It's not getting warm but I haven't pushed it hard yet.

My only criticism is that the bottom of the case has the tiniest bit of wiggle to it, was expecting something a little more solid feeling, will probably unscrew the case and re-attach it to see if that helps but I agree with other posters that the aluminium could have been a little thicker on the bottom, but hey.

very nice mine is in INCHEON, KR now and the applecare was just shipped a few hours ago...hope i can get my laptop by this week:D

Luck you!!! Did you guys directly went from "in Transit BLABLABLA" to the tracking # or is there an intermediate status?
 
This is probably a stupid question but how do you guys manage to get tracking information which goes all the way back to China?

Whenever I buy Apple CTO laptops I only get very last minute tracking information covering from the U.K. to delivery, i.e. the last 24 hours or so.

My MBP i7 shipped on the 16th but I have no idea where it is at the moment.

Any advice gratefully received. :)
 
Did people that had 'merge' and now have been graced with a tracking number what date did yours ship? Mine was 17th and I still have no tracking. :(

no idea... happened overnight... but there was "Distribution Centre UK" shown earlier yesterday, see my previous post on the previous page.

Now I am going to call apple and ask about my apple care if they would refuse to extend it I will return it and buy a sofa for the living room... screw it.

I think they always start your apple care when the laptop is shipped from China.
I don't really care about mine, as it was £50, but if I were you I would've been trying to get it extended.

Go to the Order Status page on your account, then click track shipment.

Take the carrier tracking number, and got to the carriers website (UPS in most cases) and enter it on their tracking page.

Simples.
 
Looks like the UK DC guys are more efficient than their NL brothers...

I'll give apple a call cause when I bought my last iMac (2008) it was a NL merge in transit as well and Apple never updated my tracking with my TNT tracking#... Hope they'll do better this time
 
after five months of waiting for arrandale, and thirteen days of waiting for tracking, I finally have a UPS number and it's going to be delivered today !

As for the rest of us Merge in transit, does anyone have the In Transit to Customer - Shipment Delayed status?

Mine was updated on the 19th and it still shows that. My expected delivery is 28-29th.

Ordered: MBP 2.56 with HR. Magic mouse and Remote.

Shipped on the 16th (to the UK).

Anyone in a similar situation?

Yup, he said look out for a tracking number last night or today. So fingers crossed.

How long it takes from tracking number to delivery is anyones guess.

In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 26 Apr 2010

Ordered 13th,1h after store came back up.
Shipped 16th... No tracking details, nothing. 2.4ghz 15" Hi Res with remote.
