TNT Tracking
I got a TNT tracking yesterday evening at ~23h50 (GMT+2). My package is on its way to Switzerland. According to Apple the delivery date is the 30th.
Where do you guys get detailed tracking info? When I check my tracking on TNT I only see the pick up date and destination, so frustrating...

Merge in transit move to tracking number by ups all in one sleep!!
Shipped on 17th out for delivary today.
The shipping they quoted to be delivered I think is correct just you don't get any tracking.

I think the people with detailed tracking info are using UPS.
TNT sucks when it comes to detailed tracking. All I've gotten is PingPong airport, Arnheim, and Oslo.
Depending if you're having any side orders or trimmings with no 'acts of god', your MBP shouldn't take too long hopefully. However, one thing is that the wait will feel like forever! Well done on your order. Bet you're buzzed big time!
The overall tracking is just a joke, I think I'll only get pick up location and signed by.... As long as TNT indicates when it's out for delivery I'm fine. I hope there's not a 24h lag on their website...
estimated delivery is: 10 May, 2010 - 14 May, 2010. according to their first email, surely though a base 15" with hi-res glossy is fairly standard so i would have thought they would have a fair few of them pre-made or do they genuinely build each one to order?
I agree it's arriving close to the original date but let's face it those dates are usually wildly pessimistic. Even so I would have been perfectly happy and blissful if I hadn't found this thread and found out that if you order more than one item you will never know where your laptop is until it has almost arrived and that you will get it 3 - 5 days after people who only ordered a computer and who can actually see where there laptop is in the delivery process.
At least I will know better if there is a next time
You would've thought they've got some on the shelves but after the whole delivery fiasco it doesnt give me much confidence. I ordered on the 15th and got 2x estimates. Between Apr-30 and May-03 and on another page it says May 11th. Now go figure that one.
Got an email today about my "Merge in transit" order (15" CTO), saying that it would be delivered to me in London tomorrow (28th April). My Apple Order Status still says 5th of May, but I'm going to believe the email and expect the MBP to land on my desk tomorrow afternoon.
The three most beautiful words in the English language: "Out for delivery"!
I ordered a standard 13 inch 2.4 ghz MBP on 19th April on the apple UK website and i'm still waiting for a delivery date safe in the knowledge that after viewing the shipping information I will have to throw it straight into the recycling bin on arrival to offset my carbon footprint
hmm, I think I will plant some trees in the garden instead......

Hi guys, just wanted to say that my Merge in transit order from NL is now assigned to a carrier (TNT) and on his way to Switzerland
The Apple tracking site has been updated as well and now changed from the previous estimated delivery date May 3rd to April 30th. But according to TNT I'll get my new shiny MBP and this damn remote this Wednesday, sweet

So they didn't forget Switzerland. I'm with TNT (Lausanne) as well. As yours is scheduled for today does your tracking indicate "Out for Delivery"?
Regarding this with accessories delaying...now I'm not saying this info I was given is correct but it may at least be a piece in the puzzle. Here we go:
I just called the (Swedish) Apple support and wanted to remove the remote from my order put at the 20th (15" 2,66, est delivery 17-19 May). They said I could of course do that but that it (at least for Swedes) would not affect the delivery date since all shipments still need to go through the Netherlands.
Can the matter of fact be that yes, with accessories we do get wierd tracking numbers but the delivery is only very slightly delayed, if at all? In fact it's just our frustration over the tracking numbers that makes it seem like it takes longer time

It could be that but then again there have been people with same order dates and shipping dates as me who have had their MBP's delivered last Friday
Mine simply says...
Current Delivery Status "Shipment dispatched"
None of this "in transit - On Schedule" stuff... makes me think it isnt in transit yet... mainly because no Apple employee can tell me where it is.

This such a shocking way of treating people. Why send out the emails? I also received on last week stating it would arrive this week.
We all know there was disruptions but Apple just don't seem to care at their end...

I've also ordered a HI Res screen (still waiting, of course)
