I got the "We have an iPhone for you" notice at 3:13am(ET), received the confirmation e-mail about my reservation at 5:42am(ET), and just received my complete your iPhone order at 1:52PM(ET), and have now joined the ranks of the iPhone Upgrade Program and have a 2-3 weeks ship date, X 64GB Space Gray with Verizon.

Must have just missed the Nov. 3rd date when my reservation went through this morning. Oh well, I would have tried my luck at a store on release day if I had gotten the 5-6 week wait.

So has anyone NOT gotten any emails ??? I only saw the screen but didn’t screenshot it so I don’t know the reservation number
same - no emails, no reservation # to check, cant get anyone on phone or chat...not a good sign
 
2nd emails - now officially ordered with my place in line.

Nice. Still debating to cancel my 17-24 delivery date and go with the reservation email. Don’t know if that’ll be the nov 3rd delivery date. The first email came in at 2:41 pst.

Finish up your email thing first and cancel the other.

It looks like I accidentally doubled ordered between my iOS app and desktop.

I have one order sitting with Apple where the status is “in progress” set to deliver Nov 17-24 (I think this order was the successful one with my desktop)

Meanwhile I got a reservation email and just received the second email to complete the order with more information. I tried this but it said I already have an order pending for this phone number (I think this was because of my failed attempt with the iOS app). What should I do at this point? I can’t get through to Apple.

Is it possible by hunt up reservation email would driver sooner? If that’s the case I would want to free it up.

To be on safety side, I would order from email as well. You can always cancel. They only sent you the email because the system recognizes that you tried to order but failed. It's a second chance to redeem your spot...maybe it could have week 1-2 or 2-3. who knows.

But it won’t let me follow through with the email because it says I already have an order pending with my phone number.
 
Advice needed!!! Last night..I ordered via apple and received the reserved notification. Me being the impatient person that I am, decided to see if I can order it via ATT. Well the order went through with a delivery date of 11/3. A couple of minutes ago, I received the 2nd email from Apple for me to continue...What should I do???

I'm thinking that I should just cancel Apple's order and pray that ATT delivery date doesn't change.

Same issue with me. Chat with Apple did not help.

Well, I have delivery date of 11/3... but only option is giving me to pay in full whereas I initially wanted AT&T Next. I'm hoping a chat with Apple can clear it up.

I checked on AT&T site itself and it's showing my line is eligible for an upgrade. Not sure what's the hold up.

I can't since it's the same number. It won't process two phone purchases with the same number. I'll have to cancel and finish up the email process with the hope it speeds up the delivery date. But not sure when Verizon will release the pending upgrade on my account.
 
I got the 2nd email... Being that the order I was able to place is 5-6 weeks out, and I can go ahead and reorder online for that same window, I cancelled the order. On Sprint's site, it shows my phone again as eligible to upgrade already... but when I attempt to process the reservation, it changes the 2 year contract price to full price... any idea how long it'll take for Apple to recognize that the upgrade is eligible again?

I’m in the exact same boat as you with a nov 17-24 delivery. I’m probably just going to leave it as is if I can’t get more clarification.
 
I was unsuccessful getting my phone through the IUP thanks to CitizensOne but it seems from this email that I got my phone I originally ordered on reserve anyway.

Is there any precedent for changing your payment information with these reservations? I feel like it won't let you.

I was able to get a phone through AT&T Next no problem so I should have gone with them in the first place.
 
How is it that every year Apple finds a new and creative way to **** the bed on iPhone launches?

Was online finally with a rep. Bottom line without reservation # there is nothing they can do, and he was surprised to hear no email confirming reservation was received. So it is pretty worrisome. Dont think there is much hope.

Did you guys check your spam folder? Maybe, just maybe the email is sitting in there.

Maybe you'll see an email come through sometime today
 
anyone have any tips >> I preordered 1/2 successfully last night at 12:15am. But AT&T couldn't confirm so I had to wait for the second email. Second email came, and I went through all the steps excitedly (wireless number, social, passcode texted from apple), but after I get to the very end MY CART IS EMPTY WTFFFF DO I DOOOO

also I've tried to get through the flow on my phone and on two differently configured macbooks, with both chrome and safari
