I still haven’t received my second email from Apple to complete my reservation. I also might just order from AT&T since they’re still showing Nov 3-10
Did u at least receive a letter confirming the reservation? I think everyone is waiting for the link

Got screwed with this. I got denied because something could not be verified. It might have been some input error on my part in my half sleeping state at 3am. Now, I'll get the phone mid December instead of mid November.

Reserved email at 440am, second email with link with blue button to "Complete Order" at 5am, all central time. Also had to call my card company and she said they've been getting a ton of denials.

I got this one in a few minutes after 2am on the app, and my order still shows 11/3 delivery.

After getting the error message on the Apple Store I just went to Verizon and ordered both mine and my wife's. Both shipping dates say the 3rd. Anyone else do this?

So in the first email it lets you check the status of your reservation,

First email subject line: Your iPhone has been reserved
Second email subject line: Important information about your iPhone reservation.

Sorry, I will have to do some editing before I post a screenshot of second email but it has the reservation number and a big red Complete by Saturday 10/28 on the right. At the bottom of the email is a blue Complete Order button that takes you to a quick and easy page on apple’s site to finish.

Anyone else see the other thread that the Bxxxx reservation orders are a scam?
I am quite positive the one I received was legit. It had my same reservation number, and linked me to the official Apple site.

I got this date. I haven’t purchased it yet but If i purchase it in the 24 hour window, will my delivery date be nov.3 like it shows? I’m not sure if that changes.

This is rather odd. Look like a scam. Can't be too careful.

Thing is, the way you verify things like this, is by going to the 'official' site to check. I did this, and there was no mention of a reservation, or issue with my order-nothing.

This would lead me to conclude that this indeed is a scam, intended for gather account info.

Not sure how it could be a scam. I have two BXXXXXX reservations and have completed the process for the first with an order confirm email from Apple already?

...no, it’s not a scam. A scam would not email me the same reservation number that the Apple Store app gave me. And a scam would not link you to the offial Apple site to verify it.

You are wrong.

The link in the "Important information about your iPhone reservation" email goes to https://buyiphone4.apple.com/WebObjects/IPACustomer.woa/wa/IPAPreAuthAction/editOrder which is an Apple domain that asks you for your reservation number and phone number for the line. You confirm some details and information and you proceed through the normal Apple Store checkout.

It's not a scam, the reservation number matches exactly to what I saw in the apple store app at 3:08am. You won't see your "order" until you get the 2nd email and actually finish the transaction.

For those who already got the 2nd email, what phone network are you on? I'm on AT&T, got the 1st email reservation at 5:41AM EST. Seems at the moment I can't even login into wireless.att.com to try and check my upgrade status, figures...

I got this email this morning for my initial silver I tried to order but when I enter the reservation number and my phone it can’t find it. I gotta call Apple later.
