wonder if this should be called the iphone 4sII?

I'm finding it strange that for weeks now, rumors seem to revolve around the look of the thing.

I'd be far more interested in rumors about its phone capabilities.

LTE ? If yes, for everyone, or once more only for the US like in the new iPad?
NFC ?
Memorysizes? 16/32/64 or will we get 64/128/256? or only 8 again, since iTunes is now in the Cloud?

There seems to be very little information about the actual capabilities of this new phone, but a shi..oad of information about how the display will be a little elongated to accomodate more pixels.
Or have I been missing rumors? Recent ones?

I see LTE for everyone, and I'm thinking NFC and 32/64/128 on the sizes, least i'm hoping.

I'm pretty confident that the big feature to entice consumers will be an iOS feature available only to iPhone 5 because if it's just LTE and an additional 100 pixels, it's going to be a pretty lackluster upgrade.

I'm hoping for an iWatch to offset the disappointment, but I doubt we'll see it in Sept.

Probably lte for north America and FU for the rest of the world. I'm wondering what sort of internals it will have, quad core gfx is nice but I don't see how it will help it if it's not pushing higher pixels. The 4S wasn't exactly slow. Maybe they'll stick the iPad 2 (28nm soc) CPU in it and use the power savings for better battery life (and the wet hungry lte chipset). They really need to spruce up ios6 I think, If apples sellin point is the software, then they should step it up a little IMO. And for god sakes, not apples version of mapping

Its very hard to distinguish bezel vs screen from those pics, I wonder if that will be true to the new model when fully assembled and in your hand (with screen off of course) !

Some people do that. But what immediately comes to mind would be say, I dunno, Skype? Video chatting? Facetime (yes I know all three of those are video chatting).

That Home button that should be the most durable of all buttons on the phone. Unfortunately, it's the least.

On my ageing iphone its the only button that works, power mute and volume either are broken off or not working.
