Johny Ive : Dont blame on me duh! I made other better designs too but management decided to pass this!

Designers at Ford, GM, Buick : True story here too !

Mercedes, BMW : :D LMAO!

Media, Youtoobs : dont worry tim we ll make it popular !

This is just the exterior or the case. there are no "internals" holding things in place. I'd guess the buttons are not connected to anything and just free floating, or placed very carefully so they don't fall out.

arn

True, but to have it perfectly placed one way or the other? That seems suspicious to me.

i really not convinced this is a final design and i have been thinking, i think it may be a hardware test chassis to test the internal parts and layout, i don't believe for one moment its a external design they will use,

TBH it would make sense to test the internal HW in a chassis that does not look reflect the final design, this could then go off sight of Apple with out the worry of leaks to much, going down this route would make sense as IF they had done this with the 4 even with the leak we would not have seen the whole completed device as we did.

That looks sexy as hell. Way better looking than the iPhone IMO.

I held one of them at an AT&T store and it felt cheap to me. I had a plastic HTC phone a couple years ago. After having the 4S I would never go back to plastic again. I don't care if it's the best plastic in the history of man.

And if it's the same phone why would it be shown two different ways? Did they take it apart and put it back together again and then re-photograph it?

One of my biggest grip about Android and their manufacturers is that there will be a newer spec phone every two months. That drives me crazy...knowing that my hone will be outdated in TWO fricking months. That's ridiculous! Unify the release every 6 months maybe? I hate that android phone become worthless after 6-12 months.

Totally agree...and they don't uniformly update their phones to the latest update. Like with Jellybean, why isn't already available on the GS3? Some phones that are a couple months old will never get the update. That's horrible product support. The fragmentation needs to stop for Android to really take over. It will stop though. They're moving towards it fast. That's why Apple really needs to blow people away with the new iPhone.

It's probably safe to say that this is going to be the new iPhone, considering how real it looks. Not to mention that the same parts have popped up in other places too.

Looks wrong don't like it lets see what it actually looks like when it finally comes out. More metal means more cell problems, definitely going to wait to see if its worth upgrading or wait till number 6 and see the changes.

Not as impressed as I was with 4S.

The current iPhone looks too long compared to the iPod Touch so I cannot imagine how this thing is going to look next to upcoming Android and Windows Phone devices that have proper proportions and larger screens. Wrong move IMO and iOS6 isn't going to help matters. The UI is tired and boring, especially with the incredible overhaul of Android 4.0+. Windows Phone is also really making up ground in the UI department.

And why do we get a physical home button!!!! Capactive damn it! Look at the latest Android devices to see just how beautiful a design can be without a stupid plastic button hogging up an entire inch on the bottom of the screen.

It would be kinda funny if the full design, internals and all, leaked after Cook said they were doubling down on secrecy.

If this is real all I can say is ehh. I'm not impressed by it, but I don't hate it. One thing that stuck out to me though was how the back is all flush but on the front the screen is raised from the side band. Seems kinda strange to me.

IMO the phone would look so much sleeker & awesome if the screen was flush with the rest of the body.

Seems to me like the top piece is bulging from the backplate & antenna...looks kinda goofy lol. :apple:

May apple never change this phone is non impressive as I look at my iphone 4S which runs incredible. I rather see then do to iOS what they did to mountain lion and make it fast and smooth. It feels like I have a whole new AIR after updating to ML.

I sure hope it don't look like this. I will wait and see but my eyes are on a S3 for my next phone. Unless Apple comes up with something special.

Actually this phone will be just as tall if not a little shorter than the Galaxy s 3, it is going to fit quite well in the hands.

This simply CAN NOT be the next phone. The guys working at Apple are arguably at the very top of their game and they must know more about tech and the business world than any of us.

But I think most of us (even the ones saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it") can see that this is the same design as the last two years. Using the design for a third year could really risk Apple's sales and damage their reputation - especially considering it is the iPhone that got them into their dominant position. If we can see this, surely Apple can

Competiton should make Apple innovate. This isn't innovating.

I won't believe this is the design until its unveiled. And if they do unveil a longer iPhone 4, I'm going to place my head in my hands and sigh very heavily.

ip 4 was horrible in terms of design, honestly media n youtoobs made it popular, i can understand the pain of sir johny, who passes these designs is beyond my thinking:D

it seems that apple is completely unaware of competition in the market and lost every inch of sense when it comes to design

guys this aint a ford or gm i believe, they cant get away with this one easily

still youtoobs n paid reviewer will once again make this thing popular, i understand design and this sucks sorry !

This looks gorgeous to me. I love the 4/4S design, so I am thrilled to see them stick to it.

I BLAME MANAGEMENT WHO doesnt after steve at all focused on products, instead buying companies n patent trolling

Well, whether this is really the next phone or not, I think this is awesome looking. It keeps the basis of the existing 4 design, which is still the best phone design ever, and it fixes some of the only flaws with it.
1. Glass back
2. Bigger screen
3. Thinner!

The thinner thing actually has me most excited. The existing 4/4s is just a little on the thick side, I think this will be fantastic.

it's ugly. I know people have said this before but they should just enlarge the phone proportionally. this design is not very sleek... hmm...
