How can it not look Apple like when all it is is a taller and thinner iPhone 4S with a different back plate? With that said, I'm not complaining. The mock ups of the white one look sexy! Anyone know the word used to describe a sexual attraction towards a piece of technology? ;) Just Kidding!

And does this mean that it took Apple engineers 2.5 years to figure out how to make the screen taller and put in 4G LTE? I know it'll have a new processor but that was a given.
 
I'm still on the original iPhone 4 from the other year and I love it but I do think the home button is starting to ******* up. It takes more presses than usual to turn on. Anyway, if this is the new iPhone 5 it better have some home run features or I'm holding on to my ip4 for a 3rd year. But isn't that something...
The damn iphone 4 is so freaking awesome many of us will need to see something amazing from Apple if we're going to ditch the 4. What the hell can't it do man.

do not question apple ifans let alone any apple design decisions just follow the herd or buy samsung

I think this is the worst thing you can do. If you like Apple that much, show them you don't like their product by not buying it. The only language Apple understands is money - sales figures go up means they're doing it right, when those figures drop, they'll get back on form.
 
I kind of like this design. Although, as someone stated earlier, the small glass sections on the back seem out of place. Just make it all metal or all glass.
 
So, we are basically get a slighly modded iPhone 4/4S. Oh well. I'm buying it.

Qualcomm recently released a more battery friendly LTE radio. Plus ATT LTE hasn't been available for very long. As for the taller screen, I don't have a clue. At some point we have to break from the past. Time for a longer and wider screen.

That's a mental complex though. My girlfriend has an OG Droid, which is like 2 and a half years old. Works fine.. A lot of people that don't have an Android vs Apple vs Windows mentality. So as soon as a new phone comes out their phone is outdated.

I have a 4S and although its Apples latest offering I feel its outdated....

I agree about resale...
 
I can't switch to Android because of how much I have invested in the Apple ecosystem, my friends are always complaining about twit phones' horrible OS and build quality, and honestly an Android can only do so much before you also get bored with it. It's just like an iPhone, after awhile you'll get bored with it.
 
Wouldn't the larger speaker holes point to it being a pre-production model? Just an idea..
 
I know I'm probably alone in thinking this, but I was hoping for some really cool redesign that would pull me back to the iPhone. Don't get me wrong, this design looks very good (except for those obscenely large speaker holes on the bottom), but I've personally gotten a bit bored with it since it's the same basic design since the iPhone 4. I wish this is just a fake leak and Apple wows us with a different design, but part of me says that probably won't happen.
 
I don't have the problem with overall design. It's the same sleek looking slab. Well, maybe the speaker vents looks a bit off and make the bottom looks too busy.

But ..

Putting a taller screen is not making it any BIGGER. UI and text size would still the same, only there are more (useless?) space in the length area.
 
Very nice looking, I can't really tell but it looks like there's no more annoying glass on the back?
 
You know these leaks are cool and all but it is a double edged sword. I really hope they are fake. I want Apple to blow us away with something that has been kept top secret...like they did in 2007 with the first iPhone.

You might be right. I am a designer and the back just doesn't look like something Apple would sell. It looks like an inferior technical design that you would see in a cheap Chinese knock-off, IMHO. Overall, I like it, but once you flip it over, the back just kills it.

That said, depending on hardware improvements and features, I would still upgrade if this turned out to be it. The flesh is weak.

I do put my phone in my pocket from time to time, and it always goes in head first.
 
I remember when the 4S was shown any so many of you guys bitch and moaned about there not being a re-design etc etc, and now these pictures do the rounds and almost everyone loves it even though it's basically a 4/4S....

You guys are weird...:confused:

As if compositing a rendered image with a real object is not possible? In fact doing what you suggest makes it more likely not less that it would be fake.

I really really hope so much that it's the exact same size screen as the 4s. By all means make the screen bigger if you want apple but I real object to changing te aspectratio like this!

It's almost a deal breaker and I love iOS so much. I might end up just keeping my current iPhone for the foreseeable future.

Uh I can easily touch the top and bottom of the Galaxy Nexus... Sorry you weren't blessed with normal hands.
