Mines is also coming to the U.K. I still think it will arrive on time.. only needs a late night flight into EMA or somewhere similar and it can be distributed tomorrow

The plane just landed at OAK. It is very close to me. Can't believe it! A rather long journey but quite eventful. Thanks to everyone on this thread for keeping me entertained while my laptop made its journey from CN to CA. Great stuff! I will be back when the laptop has been delivered and with benchmarks.

Good luck to everyone who is expecting theirs shortly as well.

An update: Didn't get to pick up my MBP today, unfortunately. It has been rescheduled for delivery for tomorrow. All because I opted to redirect the package from my home to a nearby UPS store. It has arrived in my city, just not where I need to go to pick it up. If I didn't redirect it, I am sure it would've arrived today.

Still processing. Apple you're killing me! I don't see how it can possibly arrive by July 31st if they don't start shipping today. Probably my only Apple product that I've been worried about a late delivery with.

Got a feeling mines going to be the same. :-(

Lame! I hope yours ships out soon Steve. I was in your position just a week ago. What date did you order yours?

Did you select expedited shipping? I am in SoCal and ordered mine on July 18th at 10pm PST. I received it Wednesday morning being held at the local FEDEX distribution center.

I ordered my laptop on the 14th. I live not too far from you in Aliso Viejo. I did select expedited shipping. I can understanding the i9 taking slightly longer to deliver, but the wait is killing me.

MBP arrived today after the missed delivery yesterday.

Weather was sooooo good today, the MBP stayed in it's box whilst I went out for a paddle. West coast of Scotland looks awesome in the sunshine

Went and picked mine up today at FedEx after missing my early AM delivery attempt. I ordered on the 20th with expedited shipping, and it arrived today. That was quite a bit faster than I expected, to be honest. This is just a LITTLE different than my late 2008, but I'm trying to suffer through...

And... it shipped. No tracking information yet but my guess is because of the time of day it IS coming from China. I’ll update when I get tracking info...

Edit: I have a FedEx tracking number but it’s not active yet.

And it was just delivered!

Ahh their business support sucks. I had to wait 15-20 min each time for "business customer service" and everytime they tell different story.

I also upgraded from the Late 2008 Unibody MacBook Pro. This new machine is crazy fast! Only took a decade to upgrade the last one. I am very happy with my purchase!

About UPS, does anyone that had the "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later." tried to reschedule their delivery ? If I do that, all options are greyed out.
But if I am connected with a UPS account (I created one a while back for some shipment I was tracking, I believe it was to be able to change some delivery informations), when I click on the CONTINUE button to change the delivery informations, it says it is scheduled for the 2nd of August as it was at first.

In case you were willing to check what is going on with your Mac, you may wan't to get yourself an account and see what it says.

In the meantime, mine has gone to Arrival Scan (in fact it happens ~10 hours ago but showed up maybe 1-2 hours ago). Next should/could be te famous customs waiting

Just an update: My MacBook seems to be in Berlin already. Hopefully, it will find its way to my home today.

For some reason mine was taken 'home' with the third party TNT delivery agent in Perth, but it was delivered this morning. My husband signed for it and didn't tell me it arrived and let me sit there and whinge about it probably not coming till late afternoon. He then led me to the package and told me no more whinging. Going to set it up this afternoon (13"/16GB/256). I just realised I need a dongle to transfer my stuff across, so I'll probably head to an Apple store before I can fully set it up.

As expected, my laptop got its final "Departure Scan" and now is en route to the UPS retail store that I have selected. Only a matter of hours now before I pick up my MBP. My 1st one. Hopefully, my experience lives up to the name.

Why is my laptop going from San Jose back up to San Francisco, when the UPS Store I selected is closer to San Jose than SF?

Weird how logistics sometimes doesn't make sense.
