Preparing Shipment!

Well in the UK my order says 'Open'. I hold out very little hope of getting before next week. It sucks when companies announce things at the end of the week and don't provide weekend shipping (even as an option).
 
Drat still preparing shipment... maybe I'll give em a ring and ask whats up what do you tink?
 
I dunno, mine is still preparing shipment as well, even though it is suppose to be here by 4 / 28 (tomorrow) at the latest, and is using 2 day shipping :(. Tell us what they say if you call, I'm just going to wait and see what happens.
 
Mine just changed to shipped, and here is the fedex tracking page

got mine shipped as well, coming from TN too. The great thing is that once it hit memphis i will get it the next day.

nice :). Hope mine changes soon. You actually got me to check! Haha . . . . sigh. Guess I'll go play some poker and attempt to study.
 
Called them today and said Apple has made a commitment to delivering the by tomorrow although mine is still in process. SO we'll see.

Errm. On the UK Apple site my order still says Open. On the US Apple site it says Preparing Shipment. Are Apple sending me Tiger direct form the US?

No, from the UK. From the UK site mine went straight from Open to Shipped.

Hey all,

This is my first time posting; shame is has to be about this particular topic.

Like many of you, I'm somewhat concerned about TIger shipping after pre-ordering from the UK Apple Store online.

Having checked my account via the UK site throughout today (Thursday), my order has shown as "open". Checking via the US site has been a little more informative; "Order being prepared" - with an expected shipping date (not delivery date) of...2nd May!

Having been daft enough to order the £20 off retail copy of .mac, which when I ordered on the day Tiger was announced, was in stock and ready to ship. It now has a 3 day build time on it.

Patience will get the better of me. The question is, without having pre-ordered a copy at an authorised reseller (Manchester Micro Anvika in this case), will I stand much of a chance of getting a copy of Tiger by turning up on-spec ?

Sorry to start with a moan - it is good to hear that others stand a chance of getting their copies on launch day.

According to Apple, if you ordered yours before April 26th you will recieve yours on Friday.

I ordered mine on the 16th but it says that it is being prepared to be shipped on the us website, and open on the uk website.

hoping it will come on friday, I don't want to wait until monday, I won't be happy.
 
Does anyone else have it shipped....I hoping taht mine arrives tommorrow as i am working on Friday and my whole weekend is fully booked...boo hooo. So i would really like to get it tommorrow...oh please :confused: :confused:
 
I ordered mine last Friday (4/22) and it shipped out this morning with an approx arrival date of Friday by 4:30pm. Mine is also being shipped out FedEx. Soooo glad its not shipped out DHL!
 
Do you think people who ordered on the release day(April 12th) will get preference...maybe a day early shipment :rolleyes:

No, because I ordered mine at 8:00am PST on the 12th and my Tiger is 7 hours, 5 minutes or 454.28 miles away sitting in a warehouse!! :mad:
