iCloud storage is syncing and storage. You have Files app now that can be used to store any documents on your iCloud

Video App is right there, preinstalled with every new iPhone out of the box. Ever seen this?

iTunes Store is also preinstalled on iOS, not as music/video player, that's just another apps. It's another store, right beside the AppStore

Just like I said, it looks pretty and colorful, not as intrusive but still it's still ads that Apple puts inside every iPhone. Look, I'm fine with it, but please .. most iPhone users are complaining about how bloated Android is, but then forget that iOS is not as innocent as you think.

Plus, with Apple’s own apps, you can hide them but they aren’t truly “deleted”.

How can you turn down free music? It's not like it's rubbish either so I never got the tantrums some had when they got an album from a top band for free.

I was the biggest U2 fan on Earth from 1983 up to around 2001. I've seen them more than 30 times. It physically hurts me to say this because I loved them so much for so long, but that free album was absolute rubbish. Their last one is even worse, which I didn't think was possible. Breaks my heart.

Having said that, I had to laugh at all the crybabies complaining when they got a free album.

If you don't use the app, the only resources it uses is storage space. The base storage on samsung phones are 2x the base storage on iPhones.

If you really cared about storage space, you would be complaining about apple. Since your aren't complaining about apple, you must not really care about storage space.
Nope, I paid for the storage space, I should be able to use it as I see fit and both Apple and Android manufacturer's are guilty of bloatware that can't be removed, thus I would say are illegally stealing space.

You can uninstall it, you know? I also don't use Apple stock yet it comes pre-installed. Point?
Are you sure that you can uninstall it? Most pre-installed apps are baked into the ROM image.

You can delete the Stocks App you know. A lot of Android bloatware can't be deleted unless you root the phone...
Can the Stocks app actually be deleted, or just hidden?

Yep iPhone users seem to forget just how Apple insert advertising everywhere in your iPhone. Music app for one, you're welcomed with a huge button for trying Apple Music

There's also iCloud backups, Apple happily sends you a notification when you run out of iCloud storage (mostly because of photos), then offering iCloud upgrade just for X $ a month.
Open Video app? Boom .. Apple wants you to fill up your movie library, another link to iTunes Movies section.
Open Watch app? Well you know Apple wants you to buy the Apple watch Series 4 only for $399 LOL

Just because it looks nice doesn't mean it's not there. The iPhone, starts at $749, and comes with preinstalled ads everywhere LOL

So you’re shaming Apple for using their own platform to promote themselves? Why shouldn’t they be promoting themselves? Apple is a business and the goal for any business is to profit — especially when they have shareholders and Wall Street breathing down their neck.

Plus, much of Apple’s product ideology is driven by their ecosystem. An iPhone is better with an Apple Watch; an iPad will work marvelously alongside your iPhone and is a comfortable way to offload some of your device usage from your Mac, allowing you to focus on work and productivity on your Mac with its OS that is very well-regarded for offering a smooth workflow. In the meantime, Apple is continuing to grow iPad is a productivity device so that, eventually, you can do your work comfortably with an iPad if you prefer the touch interface of iOS over the more traditional macOS — iOS 13 should bring another large step forward in this regard. Apple TV and AirPlay 2 make it easy to beam your media to your TV; and AirDrop makes it easy to share media/documents between Apple products. Their own services sync well between these devices. Accessories such as AirPods also consider the ecosystem — a major feature of the product is how easy it is to switch audio sources between your other Apple devices.

I could go on, but surely you already know all of this. And, if so, then again I ask why you’re surprised? Apple wants you to invest in their ecosystem because their products work better together — simply put. Frankly, I’d be surprised if Google doesn’t advertise their own vast plethora of services on their ChromeOS or Pixel products. Same for Samsung. It’s the nature of the beast that is making money.

Apple's stock app doesn't require a subscription to be useful. All unwanted software is bloatware but software you can never remove or software that requires a subscription to operate at all is especially "bloaty".

That doesn't imply it's installed without your consent, Spotify is more usable free than the paid subscription of Apple Music, and it also buffers on 4G. Just because the method of the way the app works is different, doesn't make your argument valid.

I don't remember ever installing Spotify on my iPhone but it is there so I must have some long time ago. Guess I'll give it a try.

Wonder how people would react if Apple were to install third party apps out of the box. We all remember U2.
It's not really about the third-party per se. It's about the nature, quality and ability to remove the apps. For example, it's quite possible that most Apple fans would prefer iPhones to come with preinstalled Spotify rather than Apple music.

Spotify doesn't allow you to listen to your own catalog of music without a subscription and Apple Music does. Different apps.

LOL, since when? You need an active Apple Music subscription to use iCloud Music Library, who are you trying to fool?

I don’t think it gonna age well. We all remember Samsung phones that can’t delete Facebook.

You can download song you bought since iPod 1, or sync songs though iTunes
Yes, syncing is still there. I just synced like 5 minutes ago

Well, it kinda makes sense since Samsung abandoned Milk Music. Samsung services are kinda like Google and messaging - they just keep trying but nothing ever sticks.
