Of course you could sir..The only thing Samsung makes that's clearly superior is flash storage. I would buy their flash storage along with Sandisk.
Samsung's other products, you could find a better alternative.

If they do, people will only by the 8. My guess there will only be 2 models. The smaller iPhone 7S and then the larger iPhone 8. No need for a 7 Plus.I'm too invested in the Apple ecosystem to ever leave but that's a nice looking phone. It will be kind of embarrassing if Apple goes with the rumored 3 phone line up this fall.
Even more of a reason to stick with iOS. Android is too fragmented, inconsistent, and the majority are stuck with the software that was shipped with the box unable to upgrade to the latest OS. It seems like Android OEMs drop support after a year in my personal experience.
Honestly, the S8 hardware with Pixel software, no bloat, lag, etc., would make a decent phone. Samsung would rather follow the Apple route and creating their own software

Samsung had an S4+.After the s6+ and s7+, what did you think they were going to call it? Please try harder...

I don't know about that. They make decent 4K TV's and I have a microwave that has been trouble free for over a year now. And I just got a open box Samsung dryer this Sunday from Best Buy for a crazy low price.
I've seen Samsung release some pretty crappy products in the past but it's the one company I could see making a major mistake (Note 7, exploding washers) and coming back better than ever. Not many companies I know can do that.

The person I replied to stated paying more for inferior products, which isn't true. I could buy an LG 4K OLED TV and it's not inferior to Samsung's.
If Apple doesn't redesign the iPhone it's going to be a bloodbath. I'm sick of the home button and the huge bezels. I am thinking about pre-odering this beauty, but it seems like they've added a lot more software junk...
could be 4. 7S, 7S+, Edition, SE.
on the contrary. The Samsung OLED was the best consumer TV to date. The yields were just terrible so they got out of the OLED game.
I can't believe how arrogant some Apple defenders are here. You can't just dismiss your competitors forever. Keep pretending you'll have the edge over them you have right now forever, and the next thing you know they're outranking you left and right. This happened to companies like BlackBerry and Nokia back when the first iPhone debuted.
You might not like it, or the Samsung corporate culture (which by itself is a huge turnoff for me), but what does it take to be a little humble?
Apple got lucky with the exploding S7, I don't think Apple will be as lucky this time.
Nougat came out in August, and you just got it in January? When ios 10.3 came out, I got it right away.Really?
My three year old LG got Nougat two months ago.
Exactly, I don't see the logic in comparing thousands of variations that use Android to something so exclusive like Apple. It's like when someone nitpicks one OEM out of thousands and claims "Android already had that" while comparing it to Apple. You also have to compare apples to apples. Samsung vs Apple in phone sales. Not all of Android vs Apple.
Thank you Samsung for NOT removing the headphone jack.
Samsung prove you can have cutting edge beautiful design without inconveniencing people. Wired headphones aren't going anywhere. They're here to stay.2017 is calling.
Thank you for giving me the link. I know iOS handles apps differently than android. What I meant was not the memory usage when running but the app space it uses itself (like disk space when installed). That space is growing over time. Let's say you've installed solitaire and the app uses 37,7 mb when installed at first. Over time it uses 200 mb and there is no way to get it back to its original size other then to delete and reinstall it. Not very user friendly imo.The S8 is a beautiful phone no doubt. What I know from experience is that a beautiful phone can only get you so far. The reason why I continue to buy iPhones is because it's very fast and stays fast for the life of the phone.
Android Authority did an article on how iOS can heavily compress background apps and instantly re-spring them when they're in use again.
http://www.androidauthority.com/android-ios-ram-memory-usage-744848/
In the article he shows that iOS is able to compress 300MB down to 10MB! This is why a 2GB iPhone can outperform a 3, 4, 6GB Android phone. Android needs crazy amounts of ram to avoid killing apps.
The things is, even software is becoming stagnant on phones. Is the Android fragmentation of OS' that big of a deal anymore?

Sadly it will though.Ooohhh I see the price of the 64GB S8 in the UK is £20 LESS then the 128GB iPhone 7 haha... I do hope Apple doesn't price this iPhone 8 over £1000 because it won't get as many sales.
I think the S8 looks meh though? Think they leaked it far too much...
I also don't find Samsungs build quality matches Apples.
See it's either no support or they get delayed rather than Google/Apple flagships receiving it immediately upon release.Really?
