Sept 20th orders with October ship date, Apple.com buyers. [MERGED]

If you ordered Gold, you might be in for quite a wait. This is my 13th day (10th business day) in processing.

Then again who knows...
 
Preparing for shipment! Ordered at 12:31am pst, "available to ship: October"

64gb Gold unlocked / t-mobile.
 
Just saw the charge on my Amex pop up. Went to check the order status and:

Preparing for Shipment
Gold 32GB iPhone 5S T-Mobile Unlocked. Ordered at 3:28EST Sept 20th.
 
Just moved to "Preparing for Shipment"

64G Gold ATT

Ordered 1:30AM US Pacific time 20th from Apple.com
 
Ordered Silver 32GB ATT on 09/21 @ 1:41pm MST.

No change in processing status but I did check my credit card account a few minutes ago and Apple pinged it for the charge. A change in processing status to come soon?
 
I've been following this thread for a week, time to share some hope.

Just moved to "preparing for shipment"

64 GB Gold AT&T

Ordered 9/20 on apple.com, confirmation received 3:26 AM EST

(It said 7-10 days right up to the last checkout screen then it went to October.)
 
I'll get excited when a 16gb AT&T gold ships when it's order is after 1am Pacific on the 20th.
 
My credit card was charged and my order just changed to preparing for shipment!!! Ordered on Sept 20th around 11:00pm EST. One 16GB space gray and one 16GB silver. AT&T

Wow! At least "October" finally has some movements!! I can only see the first hour buyers though. Any 4AM EDT and up buyers getting "Preparing for shipment"?

Seems like they're moving pretty good now, just checked my order and it's preparing for shipment. Silver 32gb Verizon. Confirmation email received Sat, Sep 21, 2013 at 2:02 PM
 
Still Processing , for 2 weeks.

Ordered at 8 a.m. in Sep.20

and now still processing , did not charger my CC....

do not know when would change ...

I therefore conclude that carrier based orders specifically AT&T and Verizon ships faster. I had mine on the 20th but it's a T-Mo contract free Gold.

Or maybe it's the color gold? @_@

Oh for sure. A friend ordered from AT&T a week after launch (not sure on color) and has had the phone for a few days already. It'd no doubt still be processing If he'd ordered direct from apple the same day.

I've also seen someone who ordered a 64gb Gold from t-mobile in the evening on the 20th (a good 16 hours after I ordered via apple.com) who has it in hand already. Carriers definitely have been the faster way to get phones. Even with estimated ship dates of late October people had them within days.
 
Nice, I think we are only a couple days away from being able to tell when everyone's will ship then. It should start moving pretty quickly now.

Example - 21st orders shipping 10/7 - 10/8
22nd 10/9
23rd 10/10
24th 10/11
25tg. 10/12


Usually this is how things panned out in past years. Eventually this will start happening

I hope you're right... I would be over the moon, if my phone shipped on next Wednesday.
 
Ordered a 64gb gold 5s on the 20th of September,... at 3:20am... now today, October 4th, they are finally preparing to ship the darn thing. I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get my phone
 
I'm starting to understand the compulsive need to check for status updates (shipped yet???) and shipping progress now that there's been some movement. :D
