Sept 20th orders with October ship date, Apple.com buyers. [MERGED]

Anyone here ordered from :apple:.com but outside US?
I just wondering how people ordered at late time 20th but still they get their phones faster! Even the golden model! Unlocked or not!

Ordered 2am 20th iphone 5s 32g gold still processing (more than 10 days)

I feel that i ll never gonna see this phone :)
 
My AT&T 16 GB Gold iPhone 5s ordered at 3:30 AM on Sept 20 just changed to Preparing for shipment.
 
Looks like there's some movement on the gold phones, but we're still fairly close to the midnight launch.

I ordered 32gb gold AT&T on Apple.com at 7:47am PST. Still "Processing" (will probably stay that way until sometime mid-next week...hopefully).

Silver 64g is "Preparing for Shipment".

Sept 24, 5:00 PM EST

No luck on wife's 16g gold, same day 5:07PM

It's eastern. Cause my gold 16 AT&T is still processing and I ordered 3:50AM est

Awesome! Very happy for you! I ordered at 9pm Mountain time on release day. I've lost all hope haha. I created my forum account today because I find it to be a source of therapy. I've never been so on edge about a stupid phone!
 
I just received an email from the Apple Online Store. It says that they will be emailing a more specific shipping date, shortly. Anyone else get this email?

I have to say, it takes a lot of class to reach out to the customers like this... hopefully it actually means something.

Thank you, I'm sure yours will be shipping soon. I hope. I created my account for the same reason too lol, nice to see people trading information to give some type of hope. I'm just on edge since my current phone is...less than helpful and I was due for a major upgrade.
 
ordered my unlocked grey 5s on the 24th from the canadian online store. it now says preparing for shipment. :D
 
Patiently waiting as well for my 2 gold 32gb(Tmobile) with "October" shipped date as well.....hopefully by next week we get a more precise date rather than just October

Interesting, but pretty nice. Sounds like now that they're getting to "October" status orders (a really vague shipping estimate that's been used for 2 weeks now), production is in full swing, and they've got a good idea of what demand is like, they can now get a little more specific on shipping estimates.

I didn't get such an email, but I'm one of those first few October orders.

Still nothing..no email about shipping date nor changes in my order status! I'm doomed! :(

I'm still confident that Apple is stepping up their production of the 5S. It's been two (2) weeks now and the shipping date still remains "October".

Unless they meet the demand, they would have eventually posted a date further than "October".

There's no doubt that Apple's doing their best to ramp up production... they have to, otherwise they will still be fulfilling 5s orders, and assembling the 6 as well.

I have a feeling that demand must be going down, otherwise like you said, they would have changed the current order time to November. The biggest surge came on launch weekend, and maybe the week following. Such great demand is unsustainable, and Apple will be able to catch up.
 
I caved. Canceled my gold 32 att from apple.com and ordered a silver from att. Got my shipping info within 30 mins. That was an hour ago

I did not get an email, but since I ordered just before 8AM PST and am in the "October ship date" group, I'm really looking forward to just a little more specificity. Then I might be able to stop checking this forum so frequently...

Well I have to add, that the email was addressed personally to me and with my particular order number. Not sure if that is standard practice, or everyone usually gets a mass email.

On four occasions I called the 1-800-MYAPPLE number to see if I could get anymore specifics. The fourth and final call, is when I really let them have it. I went on a decent rant about the vagueness of their "Available to Ship" date, and told them that I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of information.

The contents of the email, almost mirrored all the points from my rant. So when I read it, it was kind of uncanny and eerie. Nevertheless, I'm glad that I got some response. Now to see if Apple acts upon their email.:)

I will be. Got a smoke gray case to put it in. Will look great. Excited. I dropped my iPhone 5 to go to the HTC one Google edition and am ecstatic to go back to ios
