Do you know which model is the Canadian unlocked phones? Are we the AT&T phones? I have a hard time believing that we would have a Canada-specific model.

The time stamps don't really make sense from UPS.
It arrived at China, but never left and three days later it just popped into the US
Exactly. From looking at most other tracking posts, there are several time stamps-- in other parts of China, in Incheon / South Korea, Alaska, etc.). I had begun to wonder if they'd be delivering it on their estimated date. (10/10).

Mine left today from China and arrives 6 days later. Yours left on Sept 6, could arrive on the 11th.

ok so I found a couple gold iphone 5s near by so i tried to cancel my order which has been on processing since, they wouldn't let me cancel. maybe it because i didn't make an apple account and they needed me to login to cancel. anyways i refreshed the page after trying to cancel it and boom my status has changed to preparing for shipment!! MY CARD HAS BEEN CHARGED!!!! YAY

Well I think the answer is clear. Your shipment ships when they have it made. Date when your order was placed, means absolutely nothing.
If they have enough quantity to fill your order, it will be filled.

Had to have been just after 1pm EST, because I remember going to the verizon store to check one last time if they had it in stock before I went to order on Apple.com.
And that was immediately after coming back from lunch.

Right there with you. I ordered 16 gb gold ATT through apple.com and confirmation was sent at 8:28 am PST. Still no charge on my card yet. I'm getting anxious. My current phone doesn't receive text messages!!!
Confirmation email for my AT&T 64GB Gold model was sent at 7:46am. It is weird how the orders are being filled...Checked my local AT&T and Apple stores today. No iPhone 5s's of any capacity/color....Day 19 continues into Day 20...
