And yet there have been persistent threads about android microstutters, battery drain, and lag on MR for years.
Of course oled burn in is prevalent no people are even returning tvs due to that.

It has everything to do with your comment.
Windows 10 on my laptop has worse battery life and is slower than windows 8. This is on a year old device. Case closed.
Anyone on iOS who wants to video or chat has FaceTime and iMessage. While I can't confirm anything g about skype I know people who delete it. Android is a mess when it comes to this.
Of course, nothing like a broad generalization as fact without any proof.
There are people who disagree with this and it's Huawei that is gunning for Samsung.
please post a valid link to apples website.

Imma go and facetime my relative with an iPhone e 7. What? Nothing to install or configure?
I am not entrenched in a device camp, but everything has shortcomings. I notice lag on my 7+ from time to time. It doesn't mean it's not a great device. What makes Apple great is customer service and product support. But it's really simple how they do that: provide excellent customer service, support products for two years at least, and continue to build the brand.
Other competitors have inherent flaws like fragmentation, too much flash with software features, supply chain management issues, marketing deficiencies, etc.
Apple has flaws itself like slower bleeding edge feature adaptations, missing some software features, overused hardware and software designs, and continues to charge more for less like taking out a headphone jack and possibly eliminating TouchID.

I like iOS and I like iPhone. I don't need to justify to others why it's better. lol
Might have to from time to time because people are encamped in different areas. Not saying you're going to do it with me, but with others you might.
Dollar for dollar, a basic Moto G can do everything a modern phone should do: apps, text, call, video chat, web browse, GPS, provide LTE speeds, play music, take photos, tell time, offer calendars, etc. That is more "value" for the money than an iPhone does.
What separates iPhones are hardware, software, subjective values, and the customer experience.
A10 processor, a dual camera, Taptic Engine are hardware features Apple is great with.
Software: FaceTime, iMessage, PassBook, the Camera app are just prime features one gets with an iPhone.
Subjective values are like customer service, warranty support, faster app updates, the brand, etc. You can't put a tangible value on those since it's open to interpretation.
Customer experience: Apple has a lot of satisfied consumers. The iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, MacBook are popular products.
That's what separates the Moto G and the iPhone. Value becomes subjective when you examine differentiation.
