I do think some people upgrade their phones because of colours, of course there will be other features as well. That will be enough to convince people anyway.Apple probably thinks they will

Dark Blue was not available."Deep blue"? Am I the only what thinking this would be a strange wording for an Apple product?!![]()
They'll probably call it supernova blue. Lol.Dark Blue was not available.
Space Grey always is and always was two things:
1) Devastatingly ugly
2) Incredibly popular
The deep blue looks good. A good replacement, though not as uncreative and nondescript as space grey, which plays best for those that can't coordinate colors. It's a better choice than much of the current "gold-digger's boudoir" colors Apple uses.
Perfectly highlights my brain itch with space gray. There was no need to make up a new one. Dark gray, light gray, metallic gray, etc. Apple made a choice to have marketing create a new name that made no sense AND then use that name on 4 or more different colors. For a company that prides itself on attention to detail, not nailing down what shade of gray 'space gray' is supposed to represent seems half assed.point = there are about a bajillion colors out there.. gonna be some weird names after the first million that make sense get taken.
Or tell your wife to finish the job.Once you go blue, you know you have to call doctor.
A white 3G, even.I'm pretty sure there was a white iPhone 3GS. Get your story straight, MR.
Apple is planning to introduce a "Deep Blue" color option to replace the Space Gray color option for the upcoming iPhone 7, according to a new report from Japanese website Mac Otakara. The new color will stand alongside the already available Silver, Gold and Rose Gold.
Don't forget apple was the first to axe dvd drives, Ethernet ports and everyone said it was madness.
Not to mention they've never had a memory card solution on iPhones which was an absolute must back in the days. It never hampered their sales.
I highly, highly doubt this rumor. Space Grey seems to be a very popular color, too.
But with the white bezel and accents... it looks goofier.
I for one will never buy a white faced device any more than I'd buy an orange car. I'm not alone. Apple sells a lot of black face phones for a reason.
Only because of the black front. I'd personally love a black front with a gold back.
