Not looking good for us. I think the up to date people get pushed aside for the new orders, which is kind of crappy considering we recently spent at least $1,000 on a new computer from Apple. Mine still says Ships by Aug 28 as well. I am located in CA and I ordered in June, I don't know if that makes any difference but it might. I don't see why someone who ordered this week should get their copy before I get mine.

Same situation and location here, don't worry though I called Apple twice and the rep told me that they're going to overnight them. :)

I just wanted to let you guys know that my Snow Leopard order just shipped! Has anybody else's order shipped yet? It's scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I wonder what time...
Why would you order something you don't need?

It will get there when it gets there, wonder how bad the online ordering is going for Apple? Like in how many waited till the last minute to order?

Like I said before watch FedEx leave a note on my door saying attempted delivery and no one there to sign for the package.

Life goes on, its not the end of the world :)

Mine has no status changed, and I ordered via UTD on June 16 from a new MBP purchase. If I don't get mine tomorrow I will be complaining to them cause that isn't right.

I live in Montreal, Canada and ordered the upgrade on monday. I received an email at 12:34 today saying that the order has shipped with an expected delivery date of August 31st. I got my first mac in june and I am still discovering a lot of things in Leopard, I can wait a few days for an upgrade.

To my knowledge, it looks like most all kinds of orders have received notification of shipment. However, the UTD orders have not shipped. None of them. Maybe they are the last ones out of the warehouse or maybe they really arent shipping until tomorrow. But Apple SAYS they will arrive tomorrow, so we'll see. Maybe UTD orders will receive their confirmations later tonight.

If any UTD orders from the US get shipped, post it here!

Did you do UTD?

I may do the same. I understand that we got a discounted price, but at the same time, I personally spent over $2,000 on a new MBP and then another $10 to upgrade the OS and I placed the order over 2 months ago. You would think that alone would guarantee us the new OS when it is released.

The 2.13 white macbook didn't seem to be eligible to UTD (in Canada at least) so I just ordered the 35$ single computer upgrade.

Anyone who purchases Snow Leopard did in the past spend a large amount of money on a computer and also deserve to get the new OS when it is released. The 2000$ you spent recently isn't more or less important than the 2000$ spent a year ago.

Just got my shipping confirmation email!!! It was picked up in Memphis, TN at 5:46 this morning and is scheduled to be delivered by 3PM tomorrow. i pre-ordered Tuesday morning.

EDIT: As of 4:30 CST my copy has departed Memphis and is "In Transit." Cant wait for tomorrow to come!!!

True, but both of us got our order in in June and to have no activity on that order is wrong, imho.

So this G3 Netherlands company ... it's some part of TNT, but none of the tracking numbers work on the TNT website's tracking tool, and it's too short to be for Royal Mail.

So where exactly can I enter this tracking number for some detailed courier info for this G3 lot?

Edit: Nevermind, just re-read my shipping confirmation email ...

"The expected postal time for your order is 3 business days. This is an estimated lead time only and may vary slightly. As your order is being delivered by post there is no tracking available.

Please allow 3-4 days to receive your Invoice. Please note, your Invoice will be sent to you by e-mail and is not included with your delivery."

Well, if my shipping date of September 2nd turns out to be true enough, then so be it.

It gives me plenty of time and space to back up all my data, such as music, videos, applications, and documents, and do a clean restore with my Leopard restore discs that came with my iMac.

From there, I'll be more happy upgrading to Snow Leopard from a clean and fresh Leopard installation. After Snow Leopard is on my iMac, I'll begin putting my files back onto the system from my back up.

I have faith.

I am pointing more towards the fact that my order total ended up being over $2,000 and was placed two months ago, yet people who had a $30 order placed 5 days ago are getting priority on their shipments. That doesn't make sense.

Love it.

Same here -- ordered it a few days ago. I'm betting Apple are just being slow at updating our order statuses. Oh well, I think there are literally 4 or 5 Apple Stores within half an hour of me, so I'll go pick up a copy tomorrow if it looks dubious.
