Crap, mine is still "Prepared for Shipment ".

Yesterday I called to Apple and a dude told me that it is delivered tomorrow and I should have it from 4 to 6 days. In Mexico.

Just chatted with Apple:

-How may I help you today?
-What can you tell me about the UTD Snow Leopard orders that were pre-ordered earlier this week? Do you know when they will be delivered?
-I'm happy to assist with that.
-If you had already placed your order it will be delivered on the 28th.
-Even though the order status says "Not yet shipped?"
-Yes, you can keep following up on that page for the latest info.

Phone number + your shipping ZIP code (make sure to choose "United States" in the list of countries). Note: this only works for US shipments.

Thanks for pointing that out. I made clarifications in my OP.

Beautiful, thank you! It HAS shipped! :)

You are very welcome. I was just pointing out an earlier post that you might have missed but I'm glad I could help.

Hmm, well the fedex thing isn't working for me even though I'm in California so they probably haven't picked it up yet.

I though I'd check by BofA account and it shows a pending of $10.82 from Apple so I guess that's progress...dunno when exactly it showed up though.

Is anybody pre-signing for their order? Does Apple even allow us to presign Snow Leopard orders? My order is still at "Prepared for Shipment" on the Apple site even though FedEx has already picked it up and is sending it somewhere.

ordered mine the 24th via the up to date thingie. hopefully i get mine tomorrow, doubt it tho lol.

FYI: You can call Fed Ex, and say "I'm trying to track a package, but don't have the number" and they can look it up by address. - Anything that was picked up today should be in the system by now.

What's weird is that mine was loaded on a truck very early in the morning:

Also, something that might help: Apple seems to use your phone number as the reference number for FedEx, so if you go here and enter your phone number (numbers only) and today's date, you might be able to see your tracking before Apple sends the email. :D

This didn't work for me. Typed my 10 digit phone number, United States and my 5 digit zip and it wasn't found. I have an UTD order.

Hm, it's possible they use another number for a reference number. You can try calling FedEx as mentioned earlier and track by address. Also, can anyone confirm that tracking by phone number works for UTD orders as well as non-UTD ones?

Here is what an Apple CSR just told me on the phone.

ALL UTD orders are being shipped via the USPS(she called it the Post Office), not FedEx.

This is why we are not seeing any shipping status changes.

I am not sure about other countries other than the US.

If true, the may not be overnighted. Hence why it says "standard shipping" on UTD orders and "Priority" on all others.

Where is Online chat?

This is what I do to get to it:

Go to store.apple.com

Click any product, I usually click snow leopard and on the right in the blue sidebar, if you wait a few moments a chat icon should appear, just click that.

If what she told you is true (and not merely the semantics in language), it makes sense. I've actually received items shipped via USPS and the shipping status has shown "Not Yet Shipped." Another good thing is that USPS runs on Saturday, so if not tomorrow, then maybe the day after.

Where is Online chat?

The online chat is sometimes useless they can't answer some of these shipping questions.

My status says not shipped yet and my bank account hasnt been charged. I'm going to be pissed if this thing doesn't show up here tomorrow and others get theirs.

I live in Massachusetts.

My order still isn't shipped or even prepared. Using the reference tracking from Fedex doesn't bring up anything either.

I'm starting to lose confidence, no big deal though even if I don't get it tomorrow. Sucks that everyone around me would get theirs too!

mine says that it has been shipped, but won't deliver till september 3!!! :-(

I can't even go onto the apple site right now, is it cause everyone is trying to figure out where in this world there package is loL!

Hhahahaha does anybody else think this is funny? Im totally surprised to see this from Apple! 100% swear on my life its real too for those who would even try to say fake...
