VERY good tip! Apparently mine was picked up by FedEx in Memphis about an hour ago! Whether this is only SL or SL and my video together, well I'll just have to wait and see!

This is an amazing tip! Apple shows my order "Prepared for Shipment" but the FedEx site shows it has been picked up!

Thank you devburke! My nervousness is now gone. :D

I only bought SL and the shipping weight is 2 pounds (0.9 kg). If your box is slightly heavier according to FedEx, it may be both.

Im also in Toronto, and mine says the same thing. It says "not yet shipped". I really hope it ships tomorrow and I get it the same day! :D
 
Should I be worried mine hasnt shipped yet?! I'm in CT and I pre-ordered on Monday. It still says "Delivers on Aug 28th" but it hasnt shipped! (according to Apple.com)

Strangely enough, mine's only one pound. It could be only my adapter, but that seems unlikely.
 
Not sure about you guys. But for my country, even we placed the upgrade version way before. It has not even shipped yet. But those who went for the family pack or single pack got theirs shipped and receivcing it TODAY on the embargo date!

So money talks! haha

It's possible that they're taking the box dimensions into account somewhat when determining weight. (UPS does this, anyway.) Your box with both SL and the adapter might be more of a "standard" box compared to the ones that have SL-only. Just a thought, anyway. :)
 
Yay! Finally received my tracking number from Apple. The current status from FedEx is that it is being Picked Up Ontario, CA at 1:55 P.M. Pretty late getting our tracking numbers out Apple. Oh well, at least it will hopefully make it to delivery tomorrow morning :D Thank you Apple!!!
 
I went on the Apple chat and a fellow named Steve told me that Up-To-Date orders will not be shipping until early September, and when asked why he said "I have no official reason on that."

They are shipping Standard Overnight which has up untill 3pm to deliver, which is good because I heard FedEx Picked up around 180,000 for Delivery.

Like devbourke said use the phone number associated with your order and enter it at this site. You also have to enter in your shipping zip and select US. This only works for US shipments.

Apple's system is bogged down and running behind. Most of the orders that were "Delivers by Aug 28th" were actually picked up early this morning but Apple's system is playing catch-up.
 
I ordered an UTD disk on Sunday. Website still says Not Yet Shipped. I called Apple and they confirmed it will be delivered on tomorrow (Friday).

You just have to enter your phone number right? It's not working for me... :(

Seems like Apple is all over the board.. I've called them twice today, once this morning and once a few minutes ago to ask about my tracking number, and they both said that they were not going to be able to ship out the UTD orders until at least August 28th. So I have no idea who to believe, but I guess I will find out sometime tomorrow.
 
During the day today, my up to date order switched from saying ships September to "Ships by August 28th." I guess that means I will not get it until Monday??? I will probably end up buying it at Apple Store for $29 if they're giving out free Snow Leopard shirts too? Anyone know if they're doing that tomorrow? I guess I will give the extra one away unless I get the up to date copy tomorrow.

LOL I was wondering that too. In another another thread, I asked whether they were going to close down the Apple Store and reopen and launch Snow Leopard later on in the day. I'm going to go to the mall early tomorrow and wait and see if they will be handing out goodies. I slowly have an Apple t-shirt collection going hahaha
