Me here Friday 9 AM Eastern USA, still says not shipped.

I'm still in the same boat here in Boston. I could have just walked over to the Apple Store later today if I knew they weren't actually going to ship on time. Despite what everyone has said about the shipping information not reflecting the true status I'm starting to believe mine. They haven't even charged my credit card yet! This is really weak.

I am in the same situation. I ordered mine on 08/09 and it still says not shipped. Can I purchase SL UTD disk from the Apple store?
Wow, it's not cool to ignore people's orders just because they ordered first, Apple. I ordered June 16, and mine is still saying not yet shipped. FedEx has no record of any packages coming to my house. Apple has dropped the ball on the shipping!

UTD purchaser from Central PA here.
Just got off the phone with Apple.
If you purchased your UTD version don't expect it today. The guy said that due to the overwhelming response the shipment has been delayed and UTD orders are not likely to be delivered today.
Sorry for the bad news but I thought I'd do my part in passing along the latest update.
I'd expect to receive it around the beginning of next week.

Did Apple ever mention about the UTD orders being delivered to customers on 28th?
I don't recollect seeing it when I placed my order.

I ordered mine within an hour of SL coming online on the Apple store page, and alas it's not arrived.
Best of all, it's coming from Leicester which is no more than a 30min drive from me. I guess there's no set procedure for delivery as you'd expect those who ordered SL first would get it sooner than those who ordered it later.
They never have stated when UTD orders would ship, other than either September expected, or ships by August 28. In the UTD info page, no guarantees are there for availability after order.
Does the UTD package look the same as the upgrade ones you can buy normally at the Apple Store? If so, maybe I can buy $29 today and then return the $10 to the Apple Store.
Still waiting for mine too. If I'd have known at the time I ordered it that the Apple store in Birmingham was going to be selling it all day long and not at 6pm (as with other launches) I'd have picked mine up from there. So now sat here wondering if I'll see it before I'm back at work next week.
Got to admit I'm a little peed off that it hasn't arrived, what the hell is the point of offering a pre-order if you get it days after it's release.

I ordered something from amazon once and I live in Raleigh and they shipped it from Raleigh to Tennessee and then back to Raleigh

That's enough... I can't wait for the UTD to show up next week. I am heading off to Apple store to get a copy of SL. When I get my UTD copy I will use it to install SL in my wife's macbook.

In England when you order stuff from Apple that has to come from China, it flies right over England to Ireland, then to Holland and then to England. Effectively flying over England twice before landing in England. Thats how it used to work anyway, not sure if its changed now. Its frustrating as hell when tracking something like a MacPro.
According to Apple rep, those whose orders that shipped were fortunate to meet the volume of discs produced. The rep also said those whose orders show "Have Not Shipped Yet" are expected to ship in the new 2-3 weeks because Apple did not see such a demand for their product and that additional discs are being manufactured currently. Again, this rep said to go to an Apple store and I told her the closest one to me that isn't close for renovations is 2 hours south and she said either drive 2 hours or wait at least 2 weeks minimum.
2-3 weeks? WTF!!!! So I definitely hope everyone who gets theirs machines break today. (part sarcasm, part honesty)
