Hallelujah for that !
I don't know if questions are allowed at such events but if they are, yes, someone has to have the balls to ask about it. I wonder what answer they could come up with after several months of complete silence.

Someone asked Tim Cook during the conference call back in January (1 day before the iPad announcement) if it was true that they were going to release an iPad/Tablet the next day based on higher R&D budget for that previous quarter. I don't have a direct quote, but he said that Steve Jobs was very excited about the upcoming event and that he didn't want to spoil our surprise, so to wait and see.

the point is, as long as the questions asked have a finical point of view (sales/R&D cost/manufacturing cost, etc...), then any question can be asked.

And yes, I am hoping someone can find a good way to re-word the question and ask it during the Q&A portion of the call.

Bleh, by the time the white iPhone 4 is publicly released, most people would be holding off for the iPhone 5. This wait without updates is certainly unacceptable.

At least if we get a release date on the 18th or the 20th, we'll know what to do, either wait for it or just get something else. But being left in the dark like that is indeed unacceptable.

My thoughts exactly. If we don't have a release date next week, I will quite amazed at Apple. Simply for their lack of not caring at all. Since the white one should be out within the next 6 weeks.

You're absolutely 100% correct. Apple's poor and unnecessary communication about the white iPhone 4 has convinced me to consider other, non-Apple products when I get my next smart phone.

According to the article, the problem is with the paint not matching. But I can't help but wonder, what if Apple invested as much energy towards the antenna issue as they do towards the aesthetics, will we have this whole antenna gate?

Apple's philosophy: Form > Function

If they don't announce the white iphone at the press conference on wednesday... i might just do the front conversion and the headphone jack/dock connector myself haha

I ordered the white iphone 4 kit on www.myiphone4white.com

1 hour after and here is the result

While I'm against major aftermarket mods on the iPhone, I approve of your decision if the white tickles you. ;) Just don't swaddle it inside of 2 cases that hide its color anyway. LOL.

You know that many of these people who desperately want a white iP4 will end up tucking them inside of hideous silicone crap. :D

why not go through iResQ?
it's cheaper and it includes a flash diffuser.

I'm from France, and I ordered on www.myiphone4white.com because the price include shipping costs. (they send all around the world for the same price).

The price is very low (178euros). If you want to order on iresq, you have to pay more for shipping.

Moreover, there is the flashdiffuser whith the www.myiphone4white.com products. I ordered few weeks ago on ebay a full kit and the quality were horrible (I paid 245$) from USA.

I'lls send you pictures of my iPhone 4 white :D
