Sprint iPhone Pre-Order Status Thread

I'm switching from AT&T to Sprint. When I pre-ordered I opted to get a new number. But now I am wanting to just port my number from AT&T.
When I call the 866-437-1818 number, it asks me to enter the number I want to port. When I enter it it says "Sorry I didn't get that" and asks me to enter it again. When I enter it again it tells me it's going to transfer me to someone that can help me, and then hangs up on me.
What do I do? I have tried it a few times now and from different phones.

Try to call this number 8777754886 is retention number, which is a straight number to operator , hopefully they can help you with the problem.


Btw I got an email that my phone was delivered at my door (no one is home ) so I'm driving home to see if is really here, wish me luck guys

This is ***'n ridiculous. I just seen a UPS truck drive past my home, and stop at two other houses down the block. WTF gives?! It's 6 ***'n 43pm. My phone was Out for delivery at 1:06am!!!!

It wasn't out for delivery at 1am it was ready inside the truck , if i were you I'll go ask the dude

My UPS driver doesn't come until around 7pm. We get a lot of packages and he knows that's the best time to deliver. Which is a good thing since most of us work and won't be able to sign for it.
 
I can already notice the speed difference on Sprint vs ATT on the 4S, browsing is about the same, Apps load so much faster on ATT.
 
Well Congrats to everyone and my apologies to anyone who had a less than pleasant Experience. I stayed up all night on the 7th and ordered from sprint minutes after the site finally came live, only to have my order cancelled a just yesterday. I was pissed and said well I guess I'm not switching to sprint, walked into the store today at 3:30 and got my 32GB White iPhone, on Att again. I am happy now.

Yes i agree, I wish it would have worked out as originally planned, I really wanted to go with sprint, but beggars and choosers right. Glad to have a place to share the experiences, thanks to all for living it with me!:)
 
Finally got my 4S. And I stress the word finally.

Everything was going right as rain, just hanging out waiting for UPS to bring me my phone. At about 3:30, I decided to refresh the tracking page 'just cause'. I find out that there's been an exception to my delivery and the phone won't be delivered until Monday. I, of course, panic. I called the 1800 number and they were able to tell the warehouse to set it up as "will call" so I could pick it up myself, I'd just have to wait an hour for them to tell me it was ready for me. So about 40 minutes later, I get a call from UPS. Turns out, the phone is ON the driver's truck but SOMEHOW, the system had recorded it as being left at the warehouse. The lady on the phone gave me the driver's name and number so I could try to meet up with him to get it. I finally did, about 30 minutes after I made first contact with him. Needless to say, I earned that FREE SHIPPING today!

All in all, it was a bit of an adventure but I got my baby here with me now, loading her up with apps, music, etc.

I restored mine from an iCloud iPad 2 backup and it is sucking.

The camera won't tap to focus, and I cant get it to activate. They say I need to change my plan.
