Day 11 of nothing. This is maddening!!!!!

Tell me about it! I just had someone from Marci’s team call me and she said everything is on back order and their is no way to expidite it. This makes no sense. How are other carriers going about this just fine but Sprint is yet again dropping the ball. How is it that they say they are shipping all pre-orders when I have a pre-ordered phone and have yet to see any moving on it? This doesn’t make sense.

I am planning on pre ordering the iPhone X - I am going through the steps to order the phone on apple.com and it is asking me to enroll in the iphone upgrade program - I want to be in that program but is it going to make me fill out a bunch of information before I can order? I want to get the phone launch day and know I need to get the order in asap, anyone know if I can sign up before pre ordering so my order doesnt get slowed down?

You can't pre-order the X until October 27th. There was an abundance of 8's and we can't even get those pre-orders filled. Good luck with the X...lol. Estimated X pre-orders are at 40+ million. Estimated production for launch is estimated at 10-12 million phones.

I am aware but apple.com allows you to favorite it and pretty much walk through all the steps until the actual order. Just wondering if anyone for sprint who preordered the 8 had success getting it on launch day and what they did.

So I now have a partially shipped notification. Phones are included but not the return kit...

This is getting super irritating. I pre-ordered a 64GB Space Grey iPhone 8 on 9/15/17 at 8:30a.m. CDT. Since then, I’ve heard that there is abundant supply of iPhone 8s. People in my town have been walking in and buying them from the local Sprint stores. Apple shows shipping in 1-2 business days, last I checked.

Yet, Sprint customers who pre-ordered on 9/15 not only still don’t have phones, but still have orders showing nothing but pending with potential ship dates as late as 10/7 (which is my case). I don’t understand it. Even harder to understand is that I’ve heard from some Sprint customers who pre-ordered their phone much later in the day on 9/15 than I did and have already received it. Pre-orders don’t appear to be being filled in the order they were received.

I would really be interested to know how the Sprint pre-order system functions (or dysfunctions as the case may be).

Finally got an update. My phones should be here tomorrow but...I won’t. Has anyone had their orders rerouted to a UPS store?

They just pushed it back again. Now starting to ship 9/27. A buddy of mine works at Apple and he said they were showing 9/28 ship date at Apple for a 256gb 8 plus in silver. I ordered 2. One as a pre order and another on Sunday. It’s almost at the point their is litterly no point in pre-ordering anymore with Sprint.

Got an iPhone 8 Plus and two iPhone 8's at my local Sprint store yesterday. They were pumping them out and were getting low but expected a big shipment by Thursday.

I just got one of the two phones I ordered today, I got a UPS My Choice notification that I will be getting my other phone tomorrow. I'm so sick of Sprint.

I got lucky, both my wife (256 gold 8+) and mine (256 space grey 8+) both got delivered on launch day. I didn’t get my email with tracking until 0200 pst on the 15th. My wife got hers on the 13th at 0100

They only have 64gb ones in stock here :( I can’t use that little of storage. My 7 plus is 256gb and stays pretty full regularly

Posted too soon. Just got notification that it shipped. Supposed to be here tomorrow.

I see we're all back here again. I'm just here eating some popcorn and reading threads till the X launches, then I'll be in the trenches with you all, probably till sometime next year given apples supply levels and Sprint's pre-order track record. This one should be a fun.
Im with you

Hi all I just switched from at&t and got a silver iPhone 8plus. We ordered on the phone and it was mailed to me and I just activated it yesterday. Is it possible for me to switch to a gold color? Can I take it to a sprint store? I don't mind paying the restock fee.
