Carrier Sprint iPhone X/8/7s Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

Chances are UPS/FedEx will hold the package until the 2nd or 3rd. That’s usually what happens.
 
Whats everyone doing for Warranty?

With AppleCare+ being raised to $199 then there has to be better options. Sprint TEP? Squaretrade?

I’ve always had the Sprint insurance. Covers everything for $13 a month and a $200 deductible if phone is lost, stolen or gets water damage. Works for me.

I ordered at approx 11 am pacific, 1 pm CT. Was up till midnight the night before ordering from Apple, only to find out my order was going to be arriving in 2-3 weeks (guess I can cancel this one now). Decided to look elsewhere and saw Sprint saying phones would still arrive 11/3 and ordered thinking ehh that’s bs but I’ll give Sprint a chance. And I guess sprint came through! Hopefully you all get your shipping info real soon! So excited to get my first iPhone on launch day!

Edit: Also shipment is from Kentucky. Not China as some have been stating.

I pay my cell bill automatically with my Wells Fargo bank, so I get free insurance coverage. I had to use it once for the granddaughters phone at it worked perfectly for a screen replacement

Mine said 10/30 at the main tracking because that would be the default for 2 day shipping, but if you load my ups app you’ll see you are scheduled for 11/3

I bet if you go into the store they will write up your iPhone forever lease with the trade in just how you want it. I told the guy in the store that I had trouble and didn’t get the trade in and he asked if I wanted to trade it in, like it was fine if I did.. I said I’d think about it, since my mint 7 is worth more than I’d get trading it in.

Not true. It’s for anyone but you have to own the phone, otherwise you get whatever your buyout amount is.

If you do, like I was told it did happen one year.. you have to wait to activate
 
Got my shipping notification! Ordered around 9:30 CT because the order I placed at 2am was cancelled after I went back to sleep. I was a little worried that I wouldn't get it on launch day despite what the shipping chart said.

I got my email saying it was shipping and should be here by the 30th but of course the actual tracking number says it will be delivered on November 3rd. This is pretty much to be expected for everyone who got the email theirs would be delivered on the 30th.

You know, I wonder if Sprint would credit back the 10.00 "Next Day Air" shipping charge they made me pay... kidding.

Edit: Oh and it is coming from Kentucky.
 
Hey guys. I see my order is ready for pick up via ups. But will the iphones be sent out on exactly the 3rd or will they get to us before that??
 
We will most likely not get our phones before the 3rd. All of our shipping info is 2nd day air which should arrive Wednesday, But my shipping says it will arrive Friday 11/3. UPS usually is told by Apple to hold all the iPhones until Friday.
 
Well, I didn't stay up all night or pray to the Apple Gods. On pre-order day I kindly waltzed into Sprint around 10am (after running errands etc), ordered my iPhone X 256GB Silver. Behold, I have a tracking number and I will pick up in store on Fri. Take deep breaths...it will come and it WILL be great!

So it looks like everyones phones are ready for pick up I'm guessing it stays that way till about Wednesday...then 2 days for transit and we all get them Friday...#happyanimojifriday

That was the thoughts shared by my contact @ Sprint executive services on Tuesday, but another convo on Wednesday and further research indicated different, borne out by my X preorder.
I assure you, I don’t own the devices that I used (and submitted serial & IMEI #’s to verify qualification) for $350 off promo....

So the phones you traded in were on lease because I want that 350 credit lol. I will wait till Friday to argue though once my X is in hand

You can activate it if it comes early. Apple isn't that terrible.
