Did you break and order from a third party seller? I have to admit that I'm tempted now that John Lewis have entered the fray.

Tempting though it is I'm sticking with my Apple order because it's due on Monday and, more importantly, I want the 1.3GHz model.

Still no tracking information though!

+1 that just ordered from JL... Will make sure I'm happy with the performance first, then cancel the Apple order (a 1.3ghz BTO).

If yours is coming on the same shipment as mine then Apple has the delivery as Monday but UPS tracking has it as by the end of Tuesday...

At least my USB-C adapter turned up today :roll eyes:

Me either. I typed a query on Apple's support facility and they gave me the telephone number of their carrier (UK Mail) and a reference number that turned out to be incorrect. The carrier didn't even have any deliveries timetabled for my postcode.

I contacted Apple to try and get the correct reference. They wasted a lot of time on empty saccharine reassurances about a delivery on 11 May, apologised for the incorrect reference, and had no concrete information.

An absolute shambles. For the first the time, I have no confidence in them keeping to their delivery date.

I'm waiting for mine from Apple. Got the 512/1.2 model (SG) for £1117 from the HE store. Includes 3 years parts and labour, which is only available from
the Apple online HE store, so worth the wait.

15th - 29th May for delivery.

Well, this gets stranger and stranger.

I have had no tracking information despite the MacBook being dispatched 8 days ago on 30th April and I now discover by checking on Apple website that it's out for delivery! Fortunately I happen to be at home today but that normally would not have been the case.

Previously, all I was told was that delivery would be on Monday 11th May and that I would receive tracking information at least 48 business hours before delivery. This never happened.

Anyway, the frustrating wait is almost over. I hope it was worth It.

Just returned from Curry's with my new toy.

Apple order cancelled.

Curry's 12 months interest free pay what you like over the 12 months to pay it off.
Brilliant for me - much better than Apple. Just like a credit card purchase (without the benefits!)

Went for silver.

Now to get it out the box and check it out!!

When you say you pay what you like over 12 months, I'm assuming that is the buy now pay 12 months later offer? So £104.90 deposit today and then the final amount +£25 settlement fee at the end?

Can you end this agreement early?
