I can't complain much about service in the DC area. I have no reason to switch.

I'll be sticking with AT&T...
Finally, what's the point of an iPhone that can't access data while on a call? That's an unacceptable step backwards into history.
well, I guess that is close to 100% of iPhone users in Cambridge MA.
ATT really sucks here. There is a gaping hole in coverage about 300yards right around my house. you get at best 1 bar and a dropout every 5 minutes. it plain sucks and this has been like this for at least three years.
Sorry, but I like to have a sim card that I can freely switch phones and stuff instead being just stuck with 1 phone.
Not a heavy user of doing both at the same time; but there is a reason a keep a mains/car charger handy with me....
is that what it is like on us networks all the time?
ATT doesn't offer 3G in my area. I came across this map in a mobile forum, apparently it originated from the ATT site. This is for 3G expansion through 3/11. Checked out a coworkers phone on Verizon and 3G is fast, he said he's had zero problems and excellent reception, 3G most everywhere he goes. My contract ATT is conveniently up in Feb, I'm gone.

I picked up an iphone for ATT. How good is 3G supposed to be? For instance i don't bother trying to stream video on 3G. I check email and go to a web page but thats about it. When not on wifi, something like netflix or youtube shuts down on me. it stalls out and the app quits.
So I'm just assuming I shouldn't bother doing much except email on 3G. But should I be able to do more?
1.7-4.7% dropped call rates?

Is that what it is like on US networks all the time?
