Well the Carolina Clemson rivalry game lived up to what I was predicting, close little barn burner. Our Carolina student section got wild all first and fourth quarter when they started the comeback.
All I have to say is Clemson better drop in the rankings cause that was a sad performance

Well, that was quite an Iron Bowl. I thought it would be a tough game, but it was wilder than I expected. Still, the playoff committee may even move Bama into the top spot. Two other takeaways:

1. If Derrick Henry doesn't deserve the Heisman, nobody does. It's crazy that he's not listed as a 2015 aspirant on heisman.com, but that's probably because the university didn't submit his name - it doesn't mean he won't be a finalist.

2. Adam Griffith has peaked at just the right time. Early in the season, I used to cringe when he attempted a 25 yarder, now he's kicking much longer field goals routinely. Alabama will need that if they win next week and get to the playoffs.

I don't understand how you guys still believe Clemson can be number 1...
Everything has been based off of weekly and not the whole season each time they do the rankings. And the pathetic excuse they had today they should be dropped down at least 1 spot if not 2

Next Week/Final Rankings:

1. Oklahoma
2. Alabama
3 & 4. Doesn't matter right now, it's going to be either Iowa, Michigan State or Clemson depending on what happens in Big Ten championship.

Looks like Les Miles saved his job for the time being. I think its ludicrous to even contemplate firing him. I'm not really a fan of him or LSU. They've always played sloppy and had poor clock management. This year they have a very gifted running back, but the QB is horrible. Without a threat of a pass, people have been crowding the box in anticipation of the run.

As for Miles, paying him 15 million to walk away while the school is begging for money, seems asinine. Yes the boosters would pay that amount and not the school, but it still looks like a horrible misuse of a lot of money.

Rivalry game. They're also undefeated and beat Notre Dame and Florida State.

Georgia fired Mark Richt. You have a coach that averages 9-10 since he took the job, won the SEC a couple of times and has made it to a championship a few times and you decide to fire him. I don't know who's out there to replace Richt but its hard to significantly improve from 10-win seasons so I don't know what Georgia gains by going with a new coach.

They have done it based off of weekly performance. Carolina is absolutely horrible (I go here and have watched them loose almost every week haha). Since it is based off weekly Clemson had 3 turnovers. They better not be number 1 this time round with the performance they had yesterday.
If hey keep it based off weekly performance Oklahoma should be number 1

Perhaps. But I think we all know it's not a strictly weekly performance thing. Plus it's a rivalry game.

Rankings heading into championship weekend, nothing we weren't expecting:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma
4. Iowa

5. Michigan State
6. Ohio State.

#4 & 5 shouldn't really matter, who ever wins this weekend is in.

Predictions:

Houston - Temple (34 -27)
Alabama - Florida (42 - 7)
Stanford - USC (28 - 10)
Iowa - Michigan State ( 24 - 21)
North Carolina - Clemson (27 - 17)

I hope all of these are wrong :)

Agree with all of them except for the Alabama/Florida game. Alabama should win, but I think it's not going to be a blowout. I would say, Alabama wins by 2 touchdowns, not more.

I thought Iowa was going to win (at least before the game). Congrats on Michigan State, they definitely have some grit. I enjoyed that game and the Alabama game, though Florida has absolutely no offense. They have some work to do this off season to find a quarterback and/or fix what's broken. Not a bad result for a first year coach however.
