Same thing here. SS with black sport band. Doesn't look like it's going to be tomorrow. Maybe next week?...
 
Got this little email last night at 11:00 EST on the dot. 42mm SS BSB ordered at 3:05 to Florida. Until May 9th, they're still in their delivery window, thus I can't really complain, though of course I'd have loved to see it on "launch day." All that being said, it's a new product category, and demand was explosive. Soooo that's how it goes sometimes.
 
I say it is not a email of weather they are just telling just to make sure are phones are updated to the latest iOS. for the eastern part of the US we still have today for it to be shipped, so we get tomorrow.

Seems like launch day isn't in the cards for me. Disappointing for sure, but I've lived without the :apple: watch for 30+ years, I don't think a few more days of waiting is going to dramatically alter my life.
 
Received the email last night at 11:08 EDT. 42mm SS BSB ordered at 3:05 to Florida.
 
I can't imagine those of us getting the email will see our watches before next week. I won't even look for it early in the week. How did Apple not prepare for an overwhelming order of black sport bands?

EOD received at 11:03 pm EDT 04/22
CC charge for the SS BSB model at 5:15 am EDT on 04/23

(No change in status, still "processing items" - but there is a charge now.)
 
Has anyone that received the email went on to get their card charged and have their status move to Preparing for Shipment?

BTW my favorite part of these forums is the people who are getting theirs tomorrow telling us to just calm down when they, if you look back at their previous posts, were losing their ***** as recently as yesterday because they were stuck in processing.

Also got the email.

Ordered Apple watch classic black buckle
Received EOD around 10pm EST last night.

Card not charged. Order is still processing item.
 
Maybe those who have been charged and shipped are coming from China.

The others are coming from stock already in the U.S. which won't be broken and shipped until late Thursday.

This is my theory and I'm sticking to it. Seems like this has happened with iPhones before.

Also I feel like the email always happens with iPhones. The only reason it seems like EOD now is because of the date range.

Not sure if I was being smart or not but I had a feeling these watches would be sold out within a few minutes so I purposely went for the cheapest one in the stainless steel 48 mm series and then ordered the band I wanted separately. My watch is coming tomorrow and the band I ordered will be hopefully arriving sometime in May
 
called customer service up. if you haven't received an update yet, don't bank on receiving anything tomorrow it seems.

looks like i didn't sacrifice enough virgins this year. damn.

What did they say? We should all pretty much give up hope?
 
I have not received one; I ordered in the wee hours on 4/10, I have not received any updates or had anything charged or seen any portents including but not limited to comets, volcanoes, maidens of a fearful disposition, or very large cats.

So here's a theory: It's Apple's subtle way of telling you to STOP CALLING US because your goddamn watch will get to you when the laws of space and time allow, so kindly shut up and wait you whiney little bitches.

Just a theory.
 
I did not receive EOD and found out mine is shipped and will receive tomorrow. SG black band 42mm confirmation 12:03:44. So sorry to those who got the email. I'm hoping you still get yours tomorrow.

This email is a boilerplate Apple email and has been for years. Ive gotten this email numerous times and recieved all of my orders on the day of the launch usually first thing in the morning.

Got the email last night at 11pm Eastern US. I ordered a SG Sport 38mm at :03 and haven't received anything except this crappy email reminding me that I won't be getting it tomorrow.

No charges on card, still on processing. They won't flip the switch that quickly for tomorrow to do all of that.
