Anybody knows the terms and conditions on tmobile contract? Are they legally bound to produce us replacement sim within x days? I Would like to get my PAC code and move to three if they can't get me micro sim before Friday. I'm sure there should be a time limit we need to wait for replacement sims.

Any thoughts?

No they are not going to put that in there terms and conditions. They might put the time they take to replace a sim if lost or stolen but not the time they take to replace a sim to support the latest model. Its not like they are selling phones themselves without the required sim.

I'm annoyed about the lack of info from them too but you won't get anywhere with the terms and conditions.

I don't think O2 are giving them out. Not yet anyway...

Yes they Are.

Sorted my nano sim out today at Three store in Touchwood Solihull. Unfortunately, they had no stock of sim adapters, but the chap behind the counter gave me one he had put aside for himself, as they should have new stock arriving tomorrow. Just need to wait for it to activate now!! Happy days!!

As previously stated T-mobile Uk no jack about the nano sim.

Shocking really considering they are the only network pushing let with the iPhone 5.

If the iPhone is anything to go by I couldn't get one. They said both in store and on telephone that its for new iPhone 4 or upgrading iPhone 4 customers only. Had to dig out the scissors.

I went into my T-mobile store yesterday and said can I get a nano sim in store.

he replied, "Yes, I will get one for you now"

I got all excited and thought yippee

He returned with a micro sim.

I said "No, I want a nano sim!"

he said "Whats a nano sim?"

I laughed and left.

Shocking

Three swapped for free

Just got my nano sim from Three in Streatham Hill. I phoned ahead to confirm that they wouldn't charge the £5.11 after Cannon St. refused me. Of course, once I got there the store manager overheard and stepped in insisting I should be charged (btw, I'm on the rolling One Plan).

Luckily, I was prepared! I showed him the following tweets from @ThreeUK, and they eventually passed it over with no charge. He did insist on me watching him email Three HQ complaining about their own customer service advising customers it was free though - funny old middle managers. He also insisted I was taking a huge risk using the adapters they supply, saying that the card will get stuck in the iPhone (then why supply an adapter?).

...Existing customers can SIM swap (no charge) by calling 333 or in a 3store...

Ask for a sim replacement too, and not an upgrade. These terms seem to make a difference. Obviously the central marketing team haven't contacted the stores adequately.

After lots of conflicting info from O2 customer service, online chat and twitter, I just called a local branch this afternoon who had six Nano Sims. So I popped in and picked one up. They have no adaptor though so I can't activate it until I have the phone, but as I'm out the country in Friday I won't get it till Monday so hopefully the activation frenzy will have died down by then!

That's good to hear? Were the sims just the business/pay monthly sims or would they work with PAYG too?

It's the pay monthly, same as pictured elsewhere in the thread :)

I've got a sinking feeling....:(

Am O2 pay and go at the mo. Although I plan to move to giffgaff and trim the sim down to fit I'd like a proper O2 nano sim on Friday to guarantee I can play with my phone. Have visions of pay and go nano sims being hard to come by.

EDIT: Some of my posts are so dramatic!:)

Three store Edinburgh have no stock today, but should have them again tomorrow. Will pop back at lunchtime with the 'free for existing customers' tweet and (fingers crossed) pick one up.

Popped in to O2 store this morning (Cheltenham) on the off chance they would have some and they were totally clueless. They said they wouldnt have nano sims until friday. I said to them that the website said monday afternoon and twitter said tuesday and they just came back with "oh, in which case come back then"

FACEPALM

I got told they were out of stock, so they can't post me one and I should try my nearest store (which isn't very near).

I went through live chat about 15 times before I got someone who didn't say they were out of stock. I would keep trying or give them a call...

If anyone on vodafone lives near a vodafone store would recomment popping in there as I was in and out with my nano sim in about 5 minutes yesterday.

O2 in Sheffield, Division Street told me on the phone that they have had a delivery of both contract and pay and go nano sims today but that they're not able to dish them out yet. I'm just happy that pay and go sims are being sent out.

Seems to be a reoccuring story now...Even though online they are saying we can get them from today!!

I gathered that they've been given no guidance about the sims. They simply don't know what to do with them. I guess you've got to cross your fingers you get someone with a cavalier approach.

My nano sim has now activated and working fine. Roll on Friday. Hope my phone arrives early, guess I won't be doing much work!!

Lucky you! Still awaiting for Orange to actually get of their arses and do something about the current contract customers wanting nano sims...

Hi , just let you know that I just picked up the nano sim at o2 shop on cheapside.

thanks! I just went there and got a pack for my wife. The nice man said it includes an adaptor, have you opened it?

----------

I think you could be the first person to get one from a store!!

The Cheapside store had a pack of, I guess, 25, held together by a rubber band.
