Congratulations to the Texas Rangers. You won a hard-fought series against an outstanding Yankees team.

Hopefully, you will meet my Phillies in your first World Series.

Yankee Stadium: $1,500,000,000
Alex Rodriguez: $33,000,000
CC Sabathia: $24,000,000
Derek Jeter: $22,000,000
Losing the ALCS to the team with the 4th lowest payroll: Priceless

The Rangers better enjoy their one year window as Lee will be a Yankee next year.

To be fair, they have the 4th lowest payroll because their owner ran the team into the ground and bankrupted them.

In this series, the Rangers were better, regardless how much the payrolls were.

Losing the ALCS to the team who gave the most ridiculous contract in all of sports Priceless

Fixed that for ya :D

If Hicks wasn't such a bad owner A-Rod would not have gotten such an inflated contract that would push the salaries up for everyone else.

So Yankees need to do the following and ill be happy Lee needs to be #1 priorty after Jeter but i think hell has a better chance of freezing over before he leave, Than get another outfileder Crawford preferably and Re Sign Kerry wood he has been besides a few times awesome as the 8th man.

What about Mo? I think resigning Mo would be up there with Jeter. :p

And I agree with the rest. Sign Lee. Hopefully Andy comes back for one more season to get his postseason win total to 20 before retiring. Have a rotation of Lee, CC, Andy, Hughes, and Burnett( Yeah, Lee is our #1. The more I think about, the more I like it. Lee has been more dominant then CC has been and more deserving of the ace title. Not to discredit CC's abilities, but Lee is better). I hope we sign Crawford and put him in RF and Swisher becomes our DH/RF/1B because I like Gardner in LF, Granderson in CF, and then Crawford patrolling the short porch in right.

And on another note, but Yankee fans have to be the most treasonous fans out there. Jeter has a great year last year. Fans go, " YEAH!!!! Jeter is awesome!!!!!" This year Jeter struggles and they go, " Cut him loose! He's a POS!!!!" Last year I didn't hear much complaining about Girardi. This year, especially this series, they want to replace him already. I don't know about Yankee fans on here, but jeez I think these fans are too focused on winning a title every year. Willing to cut loose the face of the franchise just because he didn't contribute to the Yankees winning. Yeah, I think I see the fair weather fans in those fans.....

Unfortunately it looks like Girardi is coming back. Cashman says that is his first priority.

If Girardi didn't screw with the pen this year and walk everyone maybe we would have been in some of these games before they became blowouts.

Girardi has been one of my fav players in the 90s and was gald he got the coaching job but yeah i agree his Bullpen managment was horrid this year, though it doesnt help when the 51/2-7 inning guys suck as well. yeah I think Mo's a given .

I hate managers that rely to heavily on the notebook when looking at match ups. Just let the pitcher do the work.

Speaking as a lifelong Dodger fan and also a guy who likes seeing different teams in the World Series every year, I'm very conflicted on who I should root for in the NLCS. Do I root for the team who hasn't been to the World Series the last two years, or do I root for the team that's not the Giants? Seeing Cliff Lee and Roy Halladay face off would be one for the ages, but so would seeing a team who's never won the WS versus a team who hasn't won one since 1954.

Also, should the Giants win, they'll be playing a team from the AL West who's never been to the WS before. Sounds an awful lot like 2002! :D

Even though I have some friends in Philadelphia who would kill me if they heard me say this, I'm rooting for the Giants to win the NLCS too, so we can have two teams that haven't won it recently. If it's Giants vs Rangers, I really won't care who wins but if it's Phillies vs Rangers, I'll be rooting for the Rangers.

I'm rooting for the Rangers regardless of who they play. It would be nice to see them win their first World Series.

hahahaahhahaha the yankees are done

have a good night macnut and macfan881 :p
Didn't see you doing much talking when your Sowx got eliminated. We at least had 5 playoff wins, how many did you have?:p
