I ordered my 32gig black at 430pm the day after the announcement (8th) and today got a shipping confirmed email for delivery on the 16th.

Ordered 32GB WiFi in black with dark grey smart cover on Wednesday at 23:45.
Order confirmation came through at 00:30 on Thursday, and just received shipment notification this afternoon at 15:20.
Lets hope it doesn't get held up at the distribution centre.

My engraved 32GB black 4G plus smart cover is with Syncreon at Hinckley, delivers 16th March.
Syncreon scare me - when stuff has come through them or their minions before it has been delivered to the wrong house and had to be retrieved by the courier then redelivered to me (I am virtually blind and so have no idea where the other houses in the road are so I can't exactly trawl round to fetch it myself). Which works if the online tracking is up to the moment of course - you know when something has been fecked up and can tell them so. UPS and DPD know what the layout is here no problem, but I live in a close with apparently complicated house numbers. If this goes astray I will go effin' nuclear !

I doubt UK Mail has them yet. You can check out the details for the time being on Syncreon's site, UK mail should have the number beginning with 8 active from wednesday onwards...

a huge TNT depo is right next to where I work. Our iPads could be in the safe room ??
I remember ordering something from apple before (think it was my mac mini) and the shipping number didn't work for a few days TNT. Then when it did work I could see the item had come from China.
If I remember at the time someone told me you can't track TNT until it passes customs in the UK.
This might be old news to be fair as I have had the mac mini for a long time..
Anyway, I got my shipped email this morning again with TNT, having it delivered to work so they could just walk it over
....Might pop in Thursday afternoon see if they will let me have it
That wasn't true with my iPhone 4 which was shipping with TNT from China.
When I click to 'Track shipment' from my Apple order history page the the Bridge Point page that loads says:
Shipped to: London GB Mar 10, 2012
So our TNT orders might already be in the UK.
I think that's just Apple's way of saying destination. For my order it gives the town where I work - I'd be very surprised if the iPad is there already (not least as the nearest TNT depot is 15 miles away in a different town!)
That's quite a late order in the day, thats probably why. Most orders would have been in well before 9PM uk time.
How? I couldn't get into the store until 23:30 (refreshing ever few minutes on various machines) and tried until 00:30 to place an order but was unsuccessful.
I did place my order at 07:30 on the 8th and it is preparing for delivery since this morning. 16GB white.
Yup, Mine is still saying the 16th. (I actually just got an email saying that it's been dispatched, so fingers crossed might even be here a couple of days early!)
Anyway, it's a shame that apple pushed your delivery back, but hopefully they are under-promising and over delivering. (When I got my new iPod Nano with the 1st gen recall, I got the dispatch email saying it would be here in a couple of days, a few hours later and the postman was at the door asking for a signature, so fingers crossed!)
