Is that really good news?

I know Blue Velvet really loves his looks ( ;) )..... but he is so arrogant, I can't believe anyone really enjoys his PR for Chelsea, even if he is so good.

Oh well, I guess we'll just have to win the Champions League then, and hope EUFA let us back in to defend it...

Made a note in my diary, it simply said: Bugger.

Thank you, Arsenal, for beating 'pool... :D

Guess who's best in town... :D:D:D
If it was Europe it might be a different matter ;). At least Man U will have to qualify next year :p. Liverpool's league form has been patchy at best but I don't think too many of their fans will be complaining at the moment.

Hahaha, where is that quote from? :D I have heard it before, damn funny.. ;)

I am happy now, we have second place.. Screw you Man Yoo.. :)

I don't know. Who? :)
Well, not your town... I was referring to the struggle to finish 4th... and it's been quite a while since Everton finished in front of Liverpool... so "only" a 4th place is more than enough, this year... :D

(Even temporarily changed my 'tar for the occasion...)

Wasn't that quote from the last episode, when Captain Darling joined the guys in the trenches as a gift from Genreal Melchy just before the final push?

Blackadder is great.

BTW.... Happy with second!

I wonder what will happen if Liverpool wins the CL final. It would be strange having won the trophy not being able to defend it.
Didn't something similar happen to Real Madrid a couple of years back? I thought the Spanish FA did something about that then.

You're welcome sweetie... :D

XIII:

It's from Blackadder, whose use of the emphatic "bugger" is unparalleled in the English language.

Well done Evert...... Ever.... E...

Sorry, just can't bring myself to say it. ;) :D

...verton.

Thought I'd help you out :p

Thankyou, a classic quote :D

Well, unlucky Everton.. 6-0 with a few minutes to play :D

hahaha..! :p This rocks! :D

7-0 in the end - seems like if it hadn't been for the inconsistency of everyone below the Toffeemen, Boro and Liverpool (due to injuries) could have overtaken them. The Blues miss Gravesen - wonder how that'll affect them next year...

On another note, Malcolm Glazier (Tampa Bay Bucaneers owner) has inititated full takeover plans for Man Utd. He's been able to purchase shares of Magnier et al, so it seems Man Utd are going American...

How can you say they miss Gravesen? They qualified for the European Cup for the first time in what 20 years? After being tipped as relegation favourites? Everyone said the same after Rooney left. David Moyes deserves a medal. Or the freedom of Liverpool - well half of it, anyway :p.
As for Glazer - Man U supporters seem to think he will be the death of the club. Hopefully he can screw it up more than Fergie has recently :D

I saw Jose Mourinho today -- ours eyes met across a crowded pavement.

He was dropping his kids off at the school on my street this morning. Jumped out of a jet-black people-carrier with heavily-tinted windows, lifted both of his daughters over the pedestrian barrier, and they both charged towards me not looking where they were going as little kids do. One of them bumped into me and...

He. Smiled. At. Me.

*Swoon*

:D

...and in other news, we took Man Utd. to the cleaners at Old Trafford.

Almost makes up for our sad little showing a couple of weeks ago in a semi-final for some little tin trophy... :p

Damn, the Arsenal-Everton result from yesterday looks more like an American football score... 7-0? (For those who don't know, in American football, scoring a touchdown and the extra point gets you 7 points. 7-0 is a rare score, but it does happen from time to time.)

Right now, my main concern is L'pool v. Milan on the 27th... :) If we can take the Champions League, that'll more than make up for the mediocre season we had.

Hahahahaha, go to the newspapers!!! :D

If Chelsea took Man Yoo to the cleaners, what did Arsenal do to Everton...?

Anyone here who cares about the integrity of the EPL, and wants to keep Glazer out, should look into joining Shareholders United, even if you're not a Man Utd fan. You don't even have to live in the UK to join. So even if you hate Man Utd, you should still join to help with this one last stand against Glazer to prevent him from getting the 75% of shares he needs to take over.

how about this then.....

Everton is the first club to finish among the top four in the table with a negative goal differential since Norwich finished third in 1992-93 with a –4 differential. Norwich fell to 12th the next season and was relegated the following season.

:D :D :D

or....
