I have to say, I got my first headset yesterday, a wireless Turtle Beach surround sound one and wit that, playing Battlefield 4 on my 42" telly and damn holy **** that is one hell of an immersive game! Multiplayer of course 
I mean I'm dreadful at it but I am totally loving it!! This game to me is next gen.

Managed to order a PS4 this morning from ASDA online in the UK. Store pick up tomorrow hopefully.

I observed one person purchasing a PS4 - looked like it was the only one they had, the guy looked euphoric! That was the only PS4 I saw that day.

Yep, Microsoft was foolish to charge 100 bucks extra for a less powerful console.
Talk kinect all you want, but it still doesn't excuse the lack of power.

However, I work in a major retailer and both systems are selling like crack, but ps4 is selling faster, but that's only because of the holiday season. Watch, xbox is gonna either price cut (it's mandatory) or drop drastically behind after the season

I'm betting after PC release and perhaps a dlc pack or two, we will then at E3 get announcement of GTA5 definitive edition for Xbox one and PS4
Good move, pretty epic playing 64 player. I tried flying the helicopters the other day, didn't go very well at all hahaha

I think Feb for PC, DLC in March/April. "next gen" in September and people will laugh and call it "GTA5: PC Version". And everyone will keep laughing until all that remains is silicon dust.
I'm bored with COD Ghosts. I mostly play single player - and even that is feeling like a grind........
But you think the single player is any better in BF4? All I heard was that it is worse or at least on the same level - don't think they have bots in Battlefield as well.

Some amazing multiplayer stuff was going on there, but I'm not utterly keen on these gigantic maps since I prefer some footwork - so about 60% of the maps didn't cut it for me. Ghosts' maps are almost perfectly sized for me. Missing Metro and Donya Fortress action though..
Ha, I just checked stock at Best Buy for both consoles. XB1 is in stock at all 10 Best Buys near me. It won't even let me check stock for PS4, it just says not available online or for in store pickup.
Seems to be the same case at Amazon. XB1s are in stock, PS4s aren't. Glad I got my launch PS4 otherwise I'd be waiting awhile.

Heard ya. In the upcoming days to that launch day in November I couldn't help but see the XBone was available on Amazon for me to throw money at but the PS4 nowhere to be seen. "Lucky me" I got that order thu when they made it available at launch night.
As for GTAV PS4/XBone I don't really see that happening. More maybe like GTAV: Reloaded for iOS17 and Android Fried Tomato in 2023.
But it would be great to have it on PS4 anyway (so yeah, hopefully I'm wrong). What would be boring is the troll wave coming; people comparing the obvious PC-superior graphics of GTAV PC to the less-appealing ones on PS4/XBones and their "genius" and "witty" remarks and blah blah the internet kiddies attack yet once again.
I picked up a PS4 and I'm currently having a blast trying to go Platinum on AC4 and Killzone! Some of the trophies are tough but PS4 Walkthroughs is a great site to see guides and such. It's also pretty cool that trophies have a rarity now.
To be honest, the Xbox One also looks very tempting but I only had the cash for one of them. I know the next Halo and Gears will be amazing and might be enough to tempt me
