Mine actually said it shipped on the 9th, but I used the tracking number, and the data was transmitted late on the 9th (Saturday before midnight) to fedex. They wont be picking up until monday. But I woke up Sunday to find out about it.

When I ordered a BTO iMac (add 1GB RAM) for my godson last fall, it added weeks to the ship time because the BTO was done in Shanghai. I wonder if they are assembled in China also or if they ship it to China simply for the BTO and then ship it back. (seems like a lot of shipping energy to pop in a DIMM).
Ha... if it was, i'm sure the folks over at Shanghai got a kick out of it... "Stupid Americans".
Methinks now that 10.5.2 is released the floodgates will open and everyone's 8800GT will ship...

I'm concerned because nothing has been updated to the package since the 9th @ 6:00am. I should mention that I'm in New York City and my scheduled delivery date is Thurs, Feb 11 and I'm shipping FedEx Ground. Has this happened to anybody else? Does this indicate that the package is lost? Or am I just an impatient mofo?! I know that it still has two days to get here, but shouldn't there me updates to the package as it comes east? Any ideas?

I've seen this happen many times. you don't get an update for 2 days and then all the sudden "The package is out for delivery, FTW"

I think Aperture was my holdup.

Did it actually say it comes with Aperture preloaded? Maybe they just dropped in an OEM DVD for it.
Normally it's just a one-shot across the states. Whenever I have a package from the west coast shipped to the east coast (KY here) there is a big lag in the updates like that. Nothing wrong, that's just how it works
That's completely normal - I've called and asked FedEX this before. Tracking info is not updated as the truck driver does not stop until the package is delivered to the sorting facility. So if you have ground shipping, stats are only updated 3-4 times before you get the package.
Hmm... okay, I guess I'll sit tight then. The thing that concerns me the most is just the fact that there is no indication that it was sent out again. In previous experience, it is scanned in and out every time it hits a facility, just as it did when it when to its first depot. But with the latest, it was scanned "in" but not scanned "out."
We'll see what happens. ;-)

Currently, I'm slated to receive my MP sometime today, BUT the FedEx online tracking hasn't moved since Feb. 9th. I called the FedEx Ground number (1-800-463-3339) and it stated that the package was out for delivery. You may want to consider calling that number as it seems to deliver most up-to-date tracking info.

This is completely UNACCEPTABLE.
A typical knee-jerk reaction would be to cancel it and stick two fingers up at Apple, but I'm better than that - I'll give them a call tomorrow morning and beat them up verbally over the phone, demand they initiate shipment to me that day, and that they throw in Aperture 2.0 just as a goodwill gesture.
I simply cannot wait 51 MORE DAYS for my order when everybody else - especially those of you who ordered AFTER I did - are getting theirs within the next couple of days.
What clown at Apple has done this? I am incredibly annoyed.
