We're still not even sure if that's the way they're shipping. Folks are getting them all over and I'm in Florida and just got my notification. It seems as if Apple is doing a raffle over there or something.
I also have a BTO (8800gt and wifi).
My dual quad 2.8 w/8800GT & WiFi just shipped this AM!!! Woo-hoo! Scheduled arrival date is the 12th.
BTW, I did the math and canceled my earlier 3.2 order, and re-ordered a 2.8 just this past Saturday @ 7PM. Thus, my order-to-ship time was a brief six (6) days (including Sunday). That's fast!

Yikes, that's really bad.
Apple is really letting me down.
First post here. My name can be added to the list of people waiting. I ordered mine earlier this week so I'm not expecting a miracle. Plus I have to wait for a couple of weeks for my new monitor anyways. I haven't been this excited about a computer purchase in a really long time!

Just got an email in the wee morning stating that my Mac Pro is shipped on the 8th of Feb and delivered by Feb 15th.
I ordered mine back on Jan 18th.

Sheesh, the 8th was a while ago... I also had a shipment on the 8th, but got my notification that evening.... not sure if perhaps a saturday shipment counts as a friday one or if Apple is really slow. Neither result wold surprise me.
Just got the notification today - Ordered 1/11 - shipped 2/8 - est deliver 2/14 - live in the Northeast BTW =

It's 11/1, not 1/11 (for us - or at least it should be)
Well I woke up to an email from Apple this morning saying my 3.2GHz, w/8800GT is now shipping.
15 days sooner than expected. How'z that for sweet.
