I need more people to cancel so my order will arrive sooner.
i love the notch personally. it’s recognisable and unseen in the history of macbooks so it’s just extra swag B)
Interesting. I have the iPhone 12 pro and I see the notch every single time I use it. How can you not see it?Having used two iPhones with the notch, guess what: I don't even see it anymore. It becomes part of the exterior "chrome". I fully expect the same will happen to me with the new MBP.
Why the hell did you other it then? I mean can you think, you knew that upfront and still you ordered it, why?I couldn’t stand the notch on the iPhone and it has zero place on the MacBook Pro.
Anyone else wanting to cancel their order or not buy it because of the notch.
What? You ordered but cancelled? Why did you not read the specs before ordering? Can you think?I’m more disappointed at the out of date ports they added by not adding the faster SD card reader nor 2.1 HDMI (which exists in their Apple TV), not very Apple like. Also I’d say most people suffer dongle hell due to lack of USB-A and thus ill continue to suffer anyway.
The screen only going to 500nits on SDR content is also kind of meh. I’ve cancelled my order but may pick one up if reviews are good.
You couldn’t order the Macbook Pro before the announcement - so you were aware of the notch before ordering.I couldn’t stand the notch on the iPhone and it has zero place on the MacBook Pro.

There is no lost space, as the previous replier said - its all on top of 16:10.For some of us it has nothing to do with lost space. It's an aesthetic joke.
??♂️ I just don't see it - I'm focused on the content on my screen. In the same way I don't notice my monitor or TV bevels.Interesting. I have the iPhone 12 pro and I see the notch every single time I use it. How can you not see it?

If it’s such an issue for you, there is about a 12,000% chance a developer somewhere will create software which block you being able to move your mouse behind the notch. No biggieThen, a few days later, one of Apple's Product Designers posted on Twitter in response to people asking about the notch and the mouse arrow... and she replied that the mouse arrow will go behind the notch.
I realized right there how absurdly out-of-touch people at Apple are and how ridiculous this product is.
Go ahead, let the people who won't complain move up a place in line. The notch will be present on the MBP's design for several years at least.
I agree with this. Apple will get a flood of negative feedback on it. Steve Jobs has long left the building. There is nobody at Apple that has the guts to say no. They keep doing these stupid things that are alarming. The butterfly keyboard, the dumb TouchBar that sucked, and now a bloody notch.I don’t think it’ll last more than 2 iterations. It’ll be gone by 2023. It will be as short lived as the butterfly keyboard.
