Had no particular plan, but I use my Air 2 for music production, gaming and 'consumption'.

I'm certainly not interested in the art/Pencil side of it, which seems to be the only creative thing that would truly benefit from it.

It's just... massive. And heavy.

Picking mine up tonight. I'm testing driving it for a few weeks against my relatively new iPad Air 2 (got a good deal). Interested to see if I will quickly adapt to the size. My only worry is bedtime usage. Might have to finally pickup a kindle paper white for that purpose if I really love the iPP.
 
What colors did all of you guys get? I can either get it shipped and receive next week and get the black on that I want...or I can choose best buy in store pickup and get a silver or gold tonight or tomorrow ...not sure what I want to do

I personally always think black is best in an iPad as it really makes it seem like you're "holding the content" since the bezel really disappears

I have never been a fan of anything but the black because of that black line around the outside of the screen on the white ones...but its either wait about a week (won't be here next week) or go pick one up tomorrow in gold or silver..

I got black because it looks super professional imho. The white is good if you do a lot of text reading though.

Wait a tiny bit longer for the one you REALLY want. I didn't do that with my iPhone 6 and spent a year being COMPLETELY sick of what it looked it. The wait will be worth it.

FWIW I got black. I've had white iPhones and white iPads and I ALWAYS get tired of the color. I've never gotten tired of my black iOS devices yet. Plus I think black looks more bold and pro - white looks more fun.

I was upset with not getting the space grey 6s, put an otter box on it and don't even see but one part of the phone lol
 
Picked mine up today with tornadoes approaching. But it was worth the risk. I went to the mall AT&T store to get the cellular service set up. The staff were amazed at the size as they had not seen one.

I've got to say I was initially tempted to return it due to the gigantic size compared to my iPad Air 2. But after an hour use on my lap (portrait mode with folded front cover) I'm digging it

Surfing is great. The side by side apps are very nice. Easier to use in this mode over mymipad Air 2. I truly like the software keyboard. More like a real laptop.

I've got an Apple keyboard on order. Won't have it for 3-4 weeks. Really Apple? So I really can't say if it can substitute for a laptop.
 
I just helped a friend set one of these monsters up. I have to say i kept saying it is so huge. This thing is massive. I used it for a few minutes and i have to say for her use case of reading and consuming tv. This is going to be an amazing iPad. She was already a iPad convert for most of her personal work at home. I have to say if i was an avid reader or watched a lot of video that alone was enough to convince me. Forget about all the rest of the things it can do.

Oh and it is stupid fast. I am talking makes an iPad air 2 look like it is stuck in concrete fast. This device finally had hardware to run a few OS cycles. I think apple might finally be getting the hint stop crippling the hardware so drastically it is going to make os updates hard. I think IOS 8 taught them a serious lesson on that and it shows in the iPad pros resource depth.
 
I went into the store today to play with it. first let me say, wow the store was packed! Was everyone off work or what? I understand it's a holiday!

I got to play with it, write with it, and it is gorgeous! I fell in love with it. I love that it was huge. The guy took his iPad air, placed it on top of the iPad to show me how big it is. Two regular iPads = one iPad pro! The pencil had a very nice weight to it. The iPad pro was fun to hold, but it's much more nicer on the keyboard case. Felt like a laptop. The multitasking on the Pro was awesome. Way better than my iPad mini. haha I almost purchased it on the spot with the logitech case but I wanted to wait it out a bit and not just get because. I already knew I was getting one but I wanted to wait anyway. Plus, I wanted to check offerup later to see if anyone is going to sell theirs. I might be able to get it a bit cheaper.

Go in the store and check it out, you'll be amaze. It was fun to play with. The sketching and drawing is great too. I got to draw on it and I have to say it's way better than my samsung!
 
Got mine all set up, it's great. Definitely meant to be used horizontal. I do wish you could have more then one version of an app open. (Excel and safari)
 
There are going to be a lot of accessories. Too bad the keyboard can't be had now. Fortunately, most of us have a bit of experience with this sort of thing (probably too much :D). I've got quite a few things already.

BTW, I'm using this with a very good ipad pillow, that i've had for years. These are very good. Do a search for Julie's Gadgeteer review.
Point is, this thing being as large as it is, needs something like this, and this one is probably the best. I've tried a number of them. This one weighs nothing, is well made, looks great, and is very comfortable. Most of the iPad pillows and stands are horrid- uncomfortable, unstable, butt ugly.

Play the real racing hd 1 use behind the wheel camera where you are on driving seat. It will feel like you are driving the car by yourself. Did you not tried any other racing game yet. ;)
 
Saw them at the Apple store today...They are big but not as silly huge as every makes them out to be.

I like the size, it feels less constrained.

Take the black screen pops out more. Plus the new wallpaper looks nice on black/space grey.
