The love fest is getting awfully sappy in here. I thought I'd read the thread to hear about it's functionally and performance, but it's a vanity buy apparently ... "Look at me" I have Maxi Pad over here at table 3, aren't you impressed ... ARGH

To give you an idea of its size, here is a photo of the Waterfield Outback Solo cases for the iPad & iPad Pro.

I've tried a number of them. This one weighs nothing, is well made, looks great, and is very comfortable. Most of the iPad pillows and stands are horrid- uncomfortable, unstable, butt ugly.

Wedgestand eReader Pillow Stand Review

Just a heads up.

I like the concept and I'm happy it works for you.

What I didn't like; "Refunds are for purchase price of item minus a 10% restocking fee."

Restocking what, a small upholstered piece of foam? In this day and age, that's absurd. What if it's damaged in shipment or the QC was off the day it was put together?

It really is a different experience over my iPad Air2. The landscape mode is awesome while surfing, the big software keyboard is neat. I know this seems weird but on my lap, propped up it is almost like working with my 27" iMac regarding screen perspective. It is hard to describe.

I was worried about the actual mobility of this larger device. But I think the benefits of hauling this around in lieu of my iPad Air 2 is really beginning to dawn on me.

I've not yet tried to use this huge thing with my Kindle app. That will be my next test.

As stupid as it sounds I think there should be a kickstand on this gigantic iPad like what Microsoft implemented on the Surface Pro. But it's gonna make the thing so thick. Dilemma.

An unfortunate consequence of the huge size of the iPad Pro is that, Microsoft Office is not free anymore. We need to subscribe to Office 365 for all (including basic) functions, for devices with a screen larger than 10 inch.

I am actually surprised at everyone's impression this is so large. I ordered mine today after over an hour wait in the store before they would tell me they had none. Almost angered me into telling Apple to pound sand. I looked at it, played with it, looked at all the new Macs. My first and LAST impression was that I was NOT impressed at all with the size. Seemed SO close in size to my Samsung Pro S...It does seem a "little" bigger than my old iPad 4 I guess? The performance on the other hand was VERY different than my iPad 4. So I bent over & ordered one when I got home and had cooled off over the abuse by Apple store treatment. Biggest bunch of snobs I EVER saw in my 66 years...Hopefully I will like it but have till Jan 6 to return it for a refund I was told so may end up with a Surface 4 before this is over. Or one of the new Lenovo models that all DO impress me for $100.00 to $200.00 more but include REAL keyboards and hard drives etc.

Yes for once macrumors apple users are happy and haters can't take it. What do you want us to add that hasn't been said in a review already?

I'd use it most in landscape mode therefore I'd like the Apple logo on the back better if it was positioned like the MacBooks, just throw a keyboard on it and viola. :)

In a lot of ways this thing is a game changer, still on day one but the biggest thing for me is how amazing multitasking is, hardly bothered with the feature with my air or my mini but use it all the time with the pro.

Before I got this I did not really think this thing could replace my laptop but it just might, crazy.

Ginormous! No problem with watching videos or browsing as I heve it up on a stand and will not have to hold it. But gaming on this thing? Might be a little tough, but we'll see.

I have no problems playing games on it. Just like any other tablet (control wise) albeit a lot larger . . . I LOVE IT!

I'm don't understand why so many people are surprised about the size of the iPad Pro. Didn't they see the dimensions before plunking down their money on this thing? This is clearly for anyone who wants a "ginormous" iPad

I went into the store today to play with it. first let me say, wow the store was packed! Was everyone off work or what? I understand it's a holiday!

I got to play with it, write with it, and it is gorgeous! I fell in love with it. I love that it was huge. The guy took his iPad air, placed it on top of the iPad to show me how big it is. Two regular iPads = one iPad pro! The pencil had a very nice weight to it. The iPad pro was fun to hold, but it's much more nicer on the keyboard case. Felt like a laptop. The multitasking on the Pro was awesome. Way better than my iPad mini. haha I almost purchased it on the spot with the logitech case but I wanted to wait it out a bit and not just get because. I already knew I was getting one but I wanted to wait anyway. Plus, I wanted to check offerup later to see if anyone is going to sell theirs. I might be able to get it a bit cheaper.

Go in the store and check it out, you'll be amaze. It was fun to play with. The sketching and drawing is great too. I got to draw on it and I have to say it's way better than my samsung!

I replaced my iPad Mini with this. I suppose I bought the Mini because it was a novelty but, later, yearned for a larger iPad. This one does it!
